Just discovered I was accepted in the templates forum. Yeepee !!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :wub: :wub: :wub: Thank you very much for your trust.

A question: Can I now go around and download what I like as I like it or is there a rule ? I thought I read somewhere somebody suggesting a download limit ? I have a tendency to find everything beautiful and useful here, so please let me know, I wouldn't like to upset anybody now.

Tis great its back online! I always read UKS over my morning cuppa and love to see the lovely templates and designs etc. The morning hasn't been the same without them!

I have applied for membership so I hope it wont be too long before I can get another fix!

People have suggested a download limit but that is not something vB accomodates.

In an ideal world we would be able to track that, but as good as it is, vB just doesn't have a way to do that. So for now we can only allow access for unlimited downloads, and trust that the methods we have put in place will make people aware of what the templates are allowed to be used for, and the ensure that they can't later plead ignorance of the rules - as I've said before this is a critical point in any future legal action needs to be take by any designer - no one applying for access can fail to understand what they can and cannot do with those templates! They must actively accept the T&Cs befoore the form will be sent so if they download and sell them on in some way they are doing so with full knowledge that they are on the wrong side of the law!!

Thanks for clarifying that MaryAnne. It would have been very difficult to chose what to download and what not to, as the ladies are so talented and I defy anybody to show a template that's not worth it !
Well, all the templates I download will be cuddled in my home and only used for family and friends cards. Again thanks for accepting me.
And I still believe that I am going to start sharing soon :D :D :D

Keeping in mind that some of the templates have been removed by the owners after the theft was discovered and have not yet been replaced! So what Smax says is true, but that id different to being able to see the IMAGE and not the GSD. If you can't see an image but see a link to one you don't have access. If you see an image and no GSD it might have been removed by the owner. If you see the image and the GSD link, you will be able to download the GDS once you get access. If you see the image and the GSD both then you have access and will be able to download the template.

I think that covers it :)
