Weather is dreadful isn't it. Hope its better tomorrow.
I have been stroking the paper from Back Porch Memories this morning - ooh ahh! Had an email from Paula there to ask who recommended me to join up so I emailed her back with your name and to say how much I liked the kit - so you may get some extras in December!

Well done on the challenge Jill. I'm hopefully going to get the other CJ done this evening, along with the album to go with the December Scrapaholics kit.
I've come home from work and got the ironing out of the way and got some more washing on the go - so this evening is free for me:lol:

Thanks Jill - and to everyone for helping to pack up this evening which meant I got home in time to watch Strictly!
Just got back from an evening out with friends, went for a curry and then to the Blues bar on the Barbican - really nice relaxed evening.
Tomorrow I'm shopping in town with DH, DD, DS2 and then meeting up with DS1, DIL and GS for a cup of coffee and then I'll be itching to get back and finish the accordian book I started today, which now I know what I'm doing hopefully won't take too long to finish now.

Hi all
Glad to see the return of the blog Linda! Connor looks really cute doesn't he!
Exeter is going to be quite big on Saturday, according to Julia's numbers there is going to be 16 of us. I have sorted out what LOs I am going to do, just need to check that I have got everything.
Think I have got all the Christmas presents now and wrapped them as well. How is everyone else getting on?
Lindy
11-12-2007, 05:41 PM
He is very cute!
I've still got some presents to buy, them all to wrap and I must get and write my Christmas cards that need to be posted:wacko:
Saturday should be fun - just need to print out some photos - one of which will be the one on my avatar.
Jillybee
11-12-2007, 07:33 PM
Oh will so look forward to your LO with Connor then!
Jillybee
13-12-2007, 07:49 PM
Its me again. Wish everyone else was on here!
Looking forward to Saturday Linda - not sure how much I will get done this week as there are loads of us. Anything left in my crop bag I'll do on Wednesday! Seems very unchrismassy to me. With not being at work for the first time for years nothing is winding up and I haven't even got the tree up as I am going away. Hoping to get some christmassy spirit on Saturday.
Lindy
13-12-2007, 08:44 PM
I've managed to print some photos out - just need to put the papers and embellishments with them and I'll be halfway to being organised.
Jillybee
14-12-2007, 04:34 PM
I suppose we won't get too much done tomorrow as it will get in the way of Christmas chat!
Got lots of LOs I would like to get done!
Lindy
14-12-2007, 09:23 PM
I've got lots I would like to do, but I doubt I'll even accomplish half of it the way I shuffle paper around:lol:
Jillybee
14-12-2007, 10:11 PM
I know that I am stroking so many different papers! Don't EVER want to use them!

Just checking in to say "hi". Really looking forward to the January crop - I missed the December one so much. Will be going to Exeter Craft Fair at Westpoint the following day so I've got that to look forward to as well.
It's a quiet Christmas for me this year. A whole 10 days of relaxing and doing what I want to do - rather than writing essays and running around like a headless chicken at work. Oh bliss, I can't wait!
Lindy
17-12-2007, 05:11 PM
We missed you too Dee - the January one will come round quick enough.
Jill and I are going to Wespoint on the Sunday as well!
I hope you make the most of your relaxing Christmas - recharge your batteries ready for the New Year.
Craftdee
17-12-2007, 07:48 PM
Oh lovely, hopefully Tina and I will see you in Exeter. I will text Lucy later and ask her if she and Liz are coming to the January crop. I'll let you know.
Is Tracy coming to the January one? It would be lovely to see her there.
Lindy
17-12-2007, 08:06 PM
I haven't heard from Tracy as to whether she will be coming to the crop or not - would be nice if she could make them ocassionally (when she can fit it in with all her demonstrations!)
Hopefully Lucy and Liz will be able to make it too.
Last night I put together a scrapbook album of our dog for my dad as he had asked for a photo of him as a puppy ( but instead I did a whole album of him), by the time I got to the end of it I had a tear in my eye. I know dad will love it and isn't expecting it so hopefully it will be a very pleasant surprise.
Jillybee
17-12-2007, 08:06 PM
Hi both
Can't wait to the Craft fair spose I have got to spend some more money on craft stuff - that'll be the new year resolution busted!!
Will be good to see everyone at January's meeting. Not many of us for this one on Wednesday.
Craftdee
17-12-2007, 08:17 PM
Oh Linda the album sounds lovely. Any chance you could scan a few of the pages so we can take a look? Would love to see it. No doubt your dad is going to be thrilled to bits with it.
Hi Jilly, I'm going to have to take it easy money wise (until 12th January) - it's a long month this month (financially I mean) - I hope the pennies stretch that far :D.
Lindy I've been meaning to ask you. If we pay for 3 Saturdays do they have to be 3 consecutive Saturdays or can we miss a month (IYKWIM). I'm thinking I'd like to do that in January but it's difficult to plan ahead so far.
Jillybee
17-12-2007, 08:45 PM
Ahh Linda, an album of Caspar is lovely. I know how you feel, an album of Ashy my cat would be the same, very special.
The catties passed their MOT today with the vet, old but ok is the verdict. I am always worried about what he will say about them.
Mmm I am just spending money at the moment on all sorts of craft stuff I am hoping the 'bender' will stop soon!!!!
Craftdee
17-12-2007, 09:32 PM
Aww there's nothing better than having a blow out on crafty bits - I prefer it to clothes shopping now - far more satisfying.
I'm glad the moggies passed their MOT Jill, I only have one and the last time she went to the vet for her booster he told us that she has a heart murmur. Doesn't appear to be affecting her too much though - she's still as bolshy as ever :D
Jillybee
17-12-2007, 10:31 PM
Umm shouldn't worry about that too much Dee. My daughter's cat has had that for ages and he is still a 'kitten'! Chases everything in sight and sometimes even the dog! Its ridiculous how much we worry about our animals though isn't it! My girls are 17 year old long hairs, love them to bits though.

The next Saturday crop is on the 12th I think. If you contact Lindy, she will add you to the list. I'm sure she'll pick up your interest from this thread and PM you to find out if you want to come along on that date. It would be lovely to meet you.
If you're working on a particular project just bring along the stuff you'll need to complete it. Lindy has some lovely die cutting machines that she very kindly lets us use too. I usuallly work on circle journals at the crop because I'm addicted to them :D

Its me Jill!!!
Hi all
As I was on UKS thought I would just post - Hi Daynna am in the USA at the moment but I'm really Jillybee not PamelaH (that's my daughter!)
Really looking forward to all the January crops I'm at - taken quite a lot of photos whilst I have been here. Have bought a small journalling book whilst I have been here and think I might put them in that, though I expect there might be a few 12x12 pages as well. Found some great Basic Grey papers here and also have decided I really like Creative Imaginations papers so I have quite a few of those as well + quite a lot of other things as well of course! Sooooo cheap! Most of the papers I have got for 30p a sheet and some double sided was on offer and I got that for 20p a sheet!
Hope you are all ok and see you soon
Jill
