Good Morning!! Here is the Scrap Sisters November Challenge for you.
Use an album cover as a sketch/inspiration for 10 pts
Use a film title as your title for 10 pts (in honour of the release this week in 1942 of Casablanca)
Use playing cards on your layout for 5 pts (this week in 1862 the handwritten manuscript of Alice's Adventures Underground was sent to 10-year-old Alice Liddell by Lewis Carroll)
Finally, use the colours black and red for 5 pts
Here are a couple of layouts that we put together for you....
Lis (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=143391&cat=4894&ppuser=16732)
Louisa (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=143395&cat=500) - album inspiration (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=143396&cat=500).
Have fun!

I hope you come back and put a link to your page on this thread - it will help me keep track of your work!! Good Luck!!
Google "LP album covers" and you will find inspiration - in case you are too young to remember the big brother of the CD!!! ;) These things were works of art - Andy Warhol did a couple of Rolling Stones covers.

 guess that shows my age.....when I read the challange and read album covers my first thought was LP album covers and not cd covers...and if you click images before you hit search you will find tons of them!

I've been waiting for the new challenge, and omg....this one IS a challenge!! Funny, I've just started a new layout entitled "La Dolce Vita" for my Trevi Fountain pics. Now I just have to meet the other criteria. Thanks for a truly unique challenge.

Thanks for those brilliant links Ching :)
I had worked out the film and photo's in my head, but was stuck on an album cover for the lo - there are some fantastic album covers in those links which would make some great lo designs - so thanks again.

OK, I thought "Way too hard, can't do it." Then I thought some more. I tried a digi because I couldn't work out how to do it with paper. But then I never did digi before either! So I did it in Power Point and it's a little blurry. Here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=143481&nocache=1) it is if you fancy a look.

This one is really hard...BUT... I WON'T BE BEATEN!!!!! After thinking about it all day yesterday and almost having a sleepless night  INSPIRATION HAS STRUCK. Will begin working on it tonight.
Can I ask...Do you want us to upload a pic of the album cover as well or can we just include it in the photo of the LO...like next to it or something?

The album cover is up to you - it would be nice to have a pic of it in your description if possible, but alternatively - just give the name of the one you used. Just thought it would be good if people didn't know it or later on when this thread is buried - people would be able to see what you used as inspiration? If you put the album cover into somewhere like Photobucket you can put the image into your description in the same way as extra pics go in. HTH

You said it was a Challenge and it certainly was.
I have cleared the decks ready for Shimelles’s Christmas Journal, so rather than bury myself under cardstock and paper I have tried my hand at a digital LO here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=143610&cat=500&ppuser=1636) it is.
The album cover for the inspiration for the LO is here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=143611&cat=500&ppuser=1636).
