These baby shoes were adapted from a template from
bydonovan.com/templates
Took me ages but think the results were worth it.
Also admit aspired to proceed with it, by Erikap who has given us loads of fab templates, especially the lovely girl shoes
instructions
1st fold back all tab lines
2nd attached top end of shoe to back end of shoe
3rd fold the strap to the place indicated, this will give you basic shape of shoe
4th Attached sole with glue (or patiently small bits double-sided tape.
To tidy up, attached another sole to boot to hide all messy work
5th Attached strap

Here you go, not sure how acurate your template is so may need tweeking, i prefer to do by hand as i can use fewer nodes and cutting is quicker and less noisy.... but everyone to their own!
I have added a few more cut lines around the heel to give a better curve, and you may want to cut an extra insole to cover up the joins !
Good Luck !

Re-done the boy boot template with the proper dashes and works fine
as shown in the picture of the blue n cream boot.
Hope you enjoy it as i did.
I Just used wet glue, But think a tacky glue would be better as it grips quicker, But I didn't have any, so wet glue it was....
It is a bit fiddley but worth it in the end.
I decorated the shoe before I stuck it together.... (e.g. contrast)
1st - I push all the tabs up on the shoe base add glue, on the outside of tabs.
2nd - Add the front of the shoe to the base pushing the tabs onto the inside of shoe front using a pencil on the inside to help.
3rd - Add the back.
Once dried lace ribbon and lace up as normal....
hope this helps.

Hi,
Seeing Tina's reminded me that I'd done this one ages ago. So whilst the family are quiet I'd thought I'd dig it out of mothballs.
I saw a picture of one of these somewhere on the web. It was more ornate and lacy but I decided to do something a little simpler.
The beads can be coloured in the relevant colour for boy or girl. The teddy is optional, you can remove it if you'd prefer something less ornate.
Enjoy.
A box for this cot is here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showpost.php?p=5242067&postcount=66)

Hi all,
Here's a cute one. There are other templates available, hand cut or Robo. Not saying this is better, but it's free!!!!!
You need to cut 2 of the box templates to put together. I have only put a window in one face, (means there will be 2 windows, back and front), which I think works well, but you can change it if you don't agree.
Happy cutting.
Excuse the photos, they were taken after the test cut. Not using the best card or decoration. I'm sure you can do better.

The rocking horse has a small matchbox in the middle to store a small gift or voucher.
This can be decorated in traditional horse colours with a wooden stable for anyone who loves horseriding (JPEG of wood available to download from my site and print onto plain card before cutting), or it can be cut/decorated in pastels as an alternative birth/christening keepsake.
Thanks for looking.
