I have now changed the way the automatic thread closures work.
Now when a thread closes for more than 250 posts it will create a new thread with a link in the first post to the old thread. It will quote the first post in that thread too.
More importantly it will post a link to the NEW thread on the OLD thread before closing it. This will stop people getting lost. There is no need for anyone to start a new thread themselves.
PLEASE LET THE SYSTEM CREATE THE NEW THREAD. I don't want you manually creating them when you get near 250 posts.
The system will check for more than 250 posts every 10 minutes now.
