This month's card challenge is quite simple.... It's all about

The BLING!!!

Glitter, Stickles, crystals, jewel brads, perfect pearls, twinkling H2Os, glittery embossing powders... if it shines and twinkles, we want to see it!

If at the end of the month there have been 10 or more cards posted here in this thread, then one lucky person will be chosen as a 'winner' and will receive a little goodie through the post courtesy of Julie at Scrapbooking Castle (http://scrapbookingcastle.co.uk/store/).

Thank agains to Julie for her support of the UKS monthly card challenge!! :D

Thank you card I used H20's on, the medallion card is glittered and there are pink gems on the 60.

Here (http://bp1.blogger.com/_ds5unjLbq_U/RyoagCilipI/AAAAAAAAATo/2vSlfCjV-1k/s1600-h/Embossed+%26+Glittered+Rabbit_1_1.JPG) is another card which I have dry embossed and then glittered.

Here (http://bp3.blogger.com/_ds5unjLbq_U/RyocMiiliuI/AAAAAAAAAUQ/ue8XfrF9nWk/s1600-h/Snow+Word_1_1.JPG) is a DL card which I have embossed using the cuttlebug snowflake folder, I cut the word Snow using my robo and then added flowersoft and glitter.

Just thought I hope it is OK to add more than one card.

heres a couple I have managed to do tonight. The christmas tree is cut out of sparkly card with little adhesive gem stones added and also the background has some of the dots coloured with glitter sakura pen and the mittens one has clear glitter sakura on the title and the mittens are from a red shiny card. TFL

Great cards Jac, I thought I was the only one playing. As you can tell I love a bit of glitter.

Any way here is Mr Magnolia Santa along with some Hanna Trees and snowflakes. Bling as you can see is glitter snow and all of Santa's white bits.

Only just found these challenges, and am cross now as I have just made 8 cards this evening - and none of them were bling!!!! :( will try and make some before the end of the month :)
The others are all looking lovely :)

Lovely cards so far!

Here are two cards with 'bling' from me - both non christmas ... They mix some of my favourite Bella stamps with some papers I am loving at the moment (Blonde Moments) topped off with some shiney embossing and some jewels :-)

Sorry about the photos - the cards were on white paper when I took them, they are lilac with pinks etc :-/

Great cards everybody!
Here's my 'bling' card, plenty of gems and stickles. The wreath, Merry Christmas and Reindeer are all cut on my Cricut using Joys of the season cart. I used last years MME Christmas pp's and the swirls are BG Figgy Pudding Winter clear stamps.

That is really lovely Tracy, I have only ordered the BG Figgy stamp set with the pretty birdy on... although when I will get to use them is a real mystery now! :lol:

What a beautiful card Tracy. It must have taken hours to do.

Here's one I made tonight. A bit traditional but it is for the boss's wife!

Used lots of Stickles on the flower and leaves and also as part of the sentiment; pink stick on gems on pink chiffon ribbon and gold mirror card.

Sorry, colours have come out a bit wahed out - the background is pinks and gold - I really must invest in a decent camera.

Gorgeous card JAniemay I am having the same trouble with photos at the moment but I think it is poor lighting.

Wow JAniemay that is beautiful. Tracy love the fact that its is half embossed and half not looks very effective.

Heres my latest bling attempt. Papers and topper is JS victorian b'day and I decoupaged the fans then used some little silver metal fans I bought ages ago as corners to the topper. TFL

My defense is, I often make cards of this blingy scale, because my gran (I'm 95 you know) has cataracts and cannot see much so my cards are shiny and touchy feely.

Jac that's a really pretty card, those fans are so cute.

OMG, Fifi-T that's some bling and a half! They both look amazing, i'm sure your Gran will really appreciate the work you've put in for her, i bet they're really touchy feely.

It is just assorted gems, I drew the flower design by hand (that's why its so simple) then covered the whole lot with double sided tape. Then stuck on gems left over from all over the place.

Little round ones, square ones (assorted sizes) hearts, circles. The red tracing around the flower was done with small red square stones cut in half. I cut a few gems in half to fit in place.

There is nothing special there though.

I started the idea for this card in my head for the American Crafts challenge a few weeks ago. I finished it today...

I did not intend it to look like a sympathy card, but I think it would be fitting in that role. I need scalloped edge scissors though.

I ve been shopping today and in a well known department store a card they were selling really caught my eye, so I ve rushed home feeling inspired and I ve created this.

Letters cut on the Expression the stamp behind is a fabulos baroque motif by KI and I went to town with bling, is not a good photo as I found it extremely hard to photograph due to the shine on it:ph34r:

Made this card for my son this afternoon. Santa head cut on Cricut, embossed the beard with CB and decorated with stickles. Computer generated sentiment. Not a great scan, it's been too dark all day for a decent photograph, it looks better IRL

Hi ladies. There's some lovely cards on here. It's obvious that Bling is the thing !

Here are some cards I made over the last few days. There were made for my son's fiancee, but I tried to use as much bling as I could decently get away with!! Lots of stickles, gems, mirror card and glittery embossing

Well heres my latest bling card. Used silver mirricard and the tree is cut out of a sample of a ParkerKnoll fabric book!:lol: then small silver brads used for decorating the tree. TFL
