This thread has been auto-created because the original thread had over 250 posts.

Here's a summary of this month's activities:

Club dates are:

Saturday 13th October, 9.30am – 1.00pm
Monday 29th October, 7.00pm – 9.40pm

Everyone is welcome, please just let me know if you wish to book a place. Details re: venue, costs, future dates etc can be found here (http://www.scrapaholics.co.uk/main.php?page=Club-Swindon).

Crop on the 13th

Your chance to scrap and chat. We have Lets Get Scrapping joining us for any stash needs you may have. We will also be collecting any mini books made for the 'scrap a little sunshine project' that Steph told us about. You can see more details in her post here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showpost.php?p=3888148&postcount=434).

Class on the 29th

The kit contains 2 Imaginisce patterned papers, 4 sheets of cardstock (2 blue, 1 white, 1 black), a 12x12 sheet of Hambly Overlay transparencies, a white flower and a length of white ribbon. My examples using the kit can be found below, and I still have half a sheet of the overlays left.

Please remember that you can attend the class session without having the club kit if you prefer.

Please feel free to carry on......

OK I have found the auto create thread. Will start a new thread as usual for November and PM it to everyone (as long as their inboxes are not full!).

Ho-hum, keeps us on our toes!

Look what Smax has just said

If teams let their old threads auto close as they should rather than making a new one themselves then it would not have happened.

Let this be a lesson for you all

Smax has just clarified this
A new thread each month is fine. The problem is people starting new threads before the old one auto closes and a new thread is automatically started. You should always let this happen and never do it yourself. This is what has caused the 600 new threads today because the old ones were still open with about 499 posts on them.

I must be being a bit dense but I'm confused about what we should and shouldn't be doing...... My team thread has 188 posts. Is it OK for me to start another one for Nov or do I need to wait for the autocreate? I know you asked the question and SMAX said it was OK to have a new thread every month, but then later he says he just wants people to let the auto create robo do its job. I thought they were keeping team chat to 3 months anyway - that would reduce the number of threads surely..... OK enough moaning.

I do like the quote feature on the 1st post of the auto create tho - much better than before.

We had some last year and I had no sweets.... but I guess as most of the street is still not being lived in I should have known we would only have a couple if any. It's not like the sweets will go to waste

Have a good evening ;)

The way I see the instructions from Smax is not to start a new thread in the middle of the month just let it auto change because if it gets to 249 and then someone does the new thread it will mean that there are two thread going. but to start a new thread each month is OK
