This thread has been auto-created because the original thread had over 250 posts.
Post your Miscellaneous Cards (Anniversary/Wedding/Engagement/Thinking of You etc.) here for all to see and check back regularly for inspiration from the many talented ladies we have here :D
Every so often I will delete the comments posts, so that we can keep the images only, and hopefully this will build into a mini gallery of Miscellaneous Cards :D
Please feel free to carry on......

I have a few to post today.
First off a very me (I like white) thank you card (dedicated to the mystery person who somewhere along the line inspired me ).

Finally just a card I sent numpkin (aka OH) to let him know I think of him when I craft.

Thanks for the praise. I don't find much inspiration in the magazines, often find the cards cluttered and over the top. My inspiration and ideas come from these forums, so thank you to everyone who is making cards.
My scrapping is the same way, very minimalist. Thanks again for the lovely comments.

I have had to make Thank You cards from my 2 year old for all the birthday and Christmas prezzies she got. I did the Thank You using my Craft Robo and pearlised paper and Bazzill Bling for the mat and then just used different embellies to finish the cards off. I had 12 to make, have done 10 but ran out of card blanks.

A colleague of mine has ordered a wedding card for this Saturday. Hope she likes this one - their initials are A and U and I have written the wedding date in white ink on the gold banner. First time I have used my new Cuttlebug embossing folder - works fine in my Bigshot.

... I went "unplugged" and made this tiny tag again - the first time I made it was for a swap back in 2004 - I had just bought a red Sizzix and owned THREE dies. Tag, flower pot and snowflake. Made this using 2/3 of my dies  and the rest is punches. Circle for head, cloud for hands, flowers and leaves, and waterdrop used upside down for the sunflower.
GEE forgot how timeconsuming it was - but quite like it - it says SPRING to me.

I must be doing it sort of ok as the kids said "Wow Mum that colouring is just like the artists do with no lines in it, we used to watch Art Attack and wonder how he did that"!!! Bless them!!! Two of my lastest cards. Both using SU stamps. The first is a standard card but I have cut away part of it so its like a file? The second one is my first time I had a go at distressed paper, dont think it worked too well as I didnt have a tool. Maybe I can look into a tool in a few weeks/months. Also the second one was stamped with marvy uchida markers which I think has given a great effect.

I found that it slightly better in the fact that the designs are not too OTT. It's worth having a look and a flick through first if you can, it's new in. There is balloons with a few distressed stripes, happy birthday and best wishes (my fav), pressies along one side of paper and square dotty stripes, lacy stars with wavy lines (beautiful looking), big flowery but not too flowery, small stars, petal type/blossomy flowers big, firework type stars (I used this on rock and roll card, flowery diff monotones split down 1/3rd of paper and bold flower and dots. I personally like this pad and have not found a pad of papers that I like everything in it too. Just love the fact there is not lots of diff colours so can make a card one colour diff tomes using this paperso can be safe for those starting out cardmaking too. Hope this helps???

Are they a particular brand of stamp or should I search for mouse stamp? Love the graduation that would be fab to use for thank you cards for my children at school.

charlol, tried to pm you but not possible, heres the answer to your pm
Yes stampabilities they are called house mouse, sometimes you can get real bargains, also the original makers were stampa rosa, these are the non coloured version but the exact same stamps, these are often cheaper.
