This month's challenge is brought to you by the wonderful Pagemaps (http://www.pagemaps.com) sketch site!!

You can choose from the following three September card maps in this post - if you're on a roll, have a go at all three!! ;)

If at the end of the month there have been 10 or more cards posted here in this thread, then one lucky person will be chosen as a 'winner' and will receive a little goodie through the post courtesy of Julie at Scrapbooking Castle (http://scrapbookingcastle.co.uk/store/).

Thank agains to Julie for her support of the UKS monthly card challenge!! :D

Happy creating!

You don't need to go to the sketch site, they're the same pictures on this thread.

What I've done is open each thumbnail, click over the picture to make it blue (IYKWIM) and then copy and paste into word, putting all three onto one page to work on later.

Hope this helps.

Hey what a fab site!!! I never knew the Page Map site existed but I have been on it for the last hour or so downloading lots of maps.

I love doing crafty things but I really struggle with layouts and none of my cards ever seem to have the wow factor - all the cards in these challenges always have the wow factor which makes me very envious :wacko:

But these maps are fabby and give a brill insight into how put things together. All I gotta do now is look through my stash to find the co-ordinating stuff - mind you I'm no good at that either!!!! Also I quite fancy having a go at scrap booking and there are fabby layouts to play with that too.

So thanks for bringing this site to my attention - have added it to my favourites!!!! I will try to make a card to do it some justice

Right heres my first offering(I might have a go at all three challenges). One of my friend is celebrating her 12 th anniversary soo had to make a card for her and I thought I ll use this sketch. I ve used MM dotty paper, sizzic dies, Autumn Leaves stamps, gems, and those fluffy balls that i ve got since I ve first started card making(nearly 8 years ago:ph34r:). ((HUGS))

Fab cards ladies, here's the first of mine. I've used a plain red Hobby craft card blank(left over from last yr), AL Foof a La La LA pps, a blossom I received in a team swap and apapermania brad.

I've made another, just waiting for the stickles to dry:rolleyes:

Right second go, this time a Christmassy one. Used some Dovecraft papers with a bit of last year xmas paper from Papermania. Then put on some snowflake peel offs, with some star gems in their centres. 3 brads and a silver snowman and voila...

Had to photo it on top of the toilet as this was the only brightly lit room and i didn't get shadows over the card!!! Ha Ha!!! My DH gave me a very funny look when I went into the bathroom, card and camera in hand!!!

This sketch was perfect when I was presented with a folded A4 piece of a paper with lots of signatures on it, and had to make a card for one of the coaches from our fencing club, who was holding an Indian Summer Party, when we discovered a couple of days before it that it was a retirement party for her and her husband!

In keeping with the Indian Summer theme I used some 6 x 6 MM Vintage Hip Paisley papers and a paisley rub on (that's actually raised up IRL) and was fairly pleased with the outcome - well, she was, which is the most important thing.

ETA: I made the paisley a bit blingy by going over the shapes with a sparkly pen, and adding two paisley gems

Nice card Eileen - love the paisley too.

Here's one I made for another challenge but used this sketch. Had it since Friday but haven't had a chance to post a pic!

Here's my second card. Decided to go for 'monochrome plus one' IYKWIM. The beauty of sketches is that you have no preconceived notions about colours or patterns.

It's a pretty straight lift, if I do the third one I'll try to be a bit more adventurous!

I love the really bright colours, Patsy - I've been using some really vibrant citrus colours this weekend, for a challenge I set myself, to get out of a rut!

Have made a couple using these sketches (not used sketches before - aren't they fab?????) but not got around to photographing. Here's one I did last night for my Aunty who's in hospital recovering from an op. Also fits in with the Autumn theme for the challenge I'm sponsoring

Papers are Basic Grey Mellow 6 x 6 book (LOVE LOVE LOVE these papers), title printed onto Bazzill & flower a 5" Aunty Sarah's Bloomer cut down
