My very 1st attempt and they took hours of trial and error but I had alot of fun. They cut out great in the end. This is just the start!

The red lines are dashed so the windows and doors will open! Use maybe to frame family photos on a scrapbook page - make a photo frame by sticking the photos behind the windows and door then sticking the card closed; or use just as a simple card!

I've just cut it and blowing my own trumpet unashamedly-it's cute!!
Don't forget you can select and ungroup to remove any bits you don't want - or copy and paste to add another window instead of the words.

Here are a couple of gables, a kennel and roof and a picket fence ( copy and paste to length required)
Enjoy,
Susibi

Little birdhouse card with separate gables. I've just cut it and it looks fine. As I did it for ease in 1 piece of card I'll decorate it and put up a pic asap. It can be hung or will actually stand up by itself. Why not decorate one then add a little calendar as a gift. Makes a good kids colouring project - cut out a few fronts ( select, ungroup, delete all the back bits ) - 2 to a page then the kids could colour and attach small calendars - great for fundraising ( bird charities?) or just a little peace and quiet.
However you use it - enjoy!
Susibi

ps - have added fronts template - the gable can be cut once then used as a template as I couldn't get more than one on a page without fiddling! ( and I ain't in a fiddling mood!!)
Enjoy

Hi all i got this idea off create & craft so have drawn the camera myself and reversed it so it should make a shaped card. Not cut it yet as its late but will try it tomorrow, but it looks as though it will be ok.

Hi all ive cut it this morning and its fine but ive added some cutlines it looks good, may come in handy.

I have just discovered this site. It is lovely and there are so many lovely templates available.

I would like to say Thank you for sharing them.

This is my first time, so I don't really know if I've done this right, I hope so.

I would like to share a couple of my templates.

I hope you like them.

Thought this might be useful for someone!

Ideal for starting school, good luck in exams or just a greeting for a writer or an artistic person!

With a little re-sizing it makes a tall thin card (A5 folded longways)

This one is absolutely plain and fits in a standard C6 envelope as I have sized it, though it's up to you how big you need it. I have cut it from hammered ivory card which is reasonably weighty, and decorated one with stamping and embossing (bridal holographic) and the other with glitter pen lines. In both cases I have then used tiny flowers (some punched, some robo'd)
I think it could be good for sympathy, wedding, christening too.
Hope someone can find a use for it.
I have included the text that was in Bradley Hand font (I think)

This is the third and I think this is the best one yet. With this one I have arrived at the size and more or less the shaping I was looking to achieve.

The b-file is a plan of the 5 toppers into which you can put your own cuts or prints.

Now if there is 5 in your family (don't forget the family pet) how about a circle cut out of each and framing photo's of each of the family. Would make a nice card for the coming shenanigans in traditional colours and trimmings

I downloaded the butterfly from this site. It was from a page of multiple repeats of the same butterfly. If you recognise your work send me a private message and I will alter this post with an acknowlegement.

In answer to a query from Diane I have made a backing for the card which will enable it to stand up and to have somewhere to write a message to the recipient if you use it as a greetings card. Another method is to make a folded card and attach to the back of the fan for this purpose.

I've already uploaded all my files but I stuck them all in one thread and poor Lucille couldn't move them so I'm uploading them separately as it won't let me attach them to their original posts in the temporary forum.

This card is an adaptation of the same file as the paperchain teddies. I just took one of the teddies and enlarged it and fiddled a bit with it to make a lining - simply because I like putting linings in my cards. As always check your cutline settings before cutting.

The file with the bows on, is set up to cut from an A5 piece of card. If you are nervous about using an A5 sized card try it out with a pen in the holder.

Here's my first template. It's a .GRA file but PM me if you want me to convert it to .GSD

The bottom is slightly flattened so the card doesn't roll over.

Hope it's useful for someone.

Here we go - here's the .GSD conversion. I hope they cut ok - the lettering doesn't seem to have come out brilliantly in the conversion unfortunately :(

Hope these are useful for someone. They're .GRA files but PM me if you want me to convert to .GSD

Here we go, sorry they it's taken a while to do. Thanks Niki for the instructions on how to do it. I'm afraid they came out slightly rough in the conversion. I smoothed them out as much as possible, but I'd recommend using the .GRA version (in a previous thread) if you do have Design Master.

Hope they're of use to someone.

lovely for wedding invitations too. Can use silver or gold pen instead of peeloffs for the 'pages'

An easy template to cut and you can use the base and decorate it in any way you like e.g with peeloffs or stick something else on the top rather than a number - it was just that I had to do it for a first birthday. I have also done a wedding cake card which you can see in my gallery.

Hope it's of some use - it looks better made up than in the photo.

Having watched the glitter girls the other day I decided to have a go and make my own template. It cuts fine although I haven't made one up yet.

You cut out the template 3 or 4 times and glue them together down the middle strip. You can then arrange them in a star shape. Or you can visit Splitcoast Stampers for tutorial, see attachment for idea.

Hi!

This was one of my mad moments when I thought I would try and be different.

Whilst laying in bed it came to me ah! I could try & design a lattice TV set which would be okay if you wanted a card for the male gender.

I am not too keen on it but someone may want it? before it goes to scrapping heaven lol

Yet another simple file. (like me)
You could cut e.g. ovals out of the front and stick photos to show though to give as gift – family tree style.
Or add blossom flowers and poss a bird for spring card
Or fruit for autumn.
If you cut it smaller use on a scrapbook page as journaling tag

This is another simple one. Just a shaped card, insert your photo, manipulate it till the main image fits into the right hand side of the card, print and cut. Then cut your frame in contrasting card. Stick and decorate.
These are my Grand Monsters btw. They will be sending this to my mom - Great Granny.

This template was published in a freebie pull-out from a craft magazine so I'm assuming that it's not copyright restricted and I'm free to share

I hope someone will find it worthy of sharing and I'd also like to say thank you to all you clever ladies (and men :D) who share your very talented templates with the rest of us.

{you are right to be unsure :) Just because it was offered free does not mean it can be shared freely - you would have to check the T&C of the mag, the site, and/or the original designer}
