Using brushes in photoshop

I've downloaded the swirly brushes mentioned on the home page(at least I think I've downloaded them properly) now how do I use them please?

I have done the same and got no clue what to do next either. I have photoshop elements 5.

Somebody please take pity and help us!!

PLEASE someone must know or know a nice simple tutorial. Desperate woman here! Might be forced out into torrential rain to the library at this rate!

There is a tutorial at digitalscrapbookplace (dotcom) I have used it once and it worked but am not fluent with it yet (still learning!) Good luck

PS it all depends on whether you downloaded the brushes or the png files as they work differently!!!
