Hi All

Yep I'm late again, Kirsty i've posted and recieved both today. I'm changing cable and broadband from virgin to sky and of course there has been a stuff up and I wont have broadband for 2 weeks now!! How will I survive without internet at home!!!! I was going to try and do a bit on the cybercrop this weekend:(

Anyway been having major horrid times with my dogs health but he's finally been given the all clear for cancer. I'm so relieved i really though i was going to lose him for awhile.

Now what recipe am i going to add to this CJ, I know I'll definitely be writing a couple of them down though!

Hi all!
I'm glad your dog has had the all clear Monica, it's so horrible when your pet is unwell and you fear the worst. My cat, Fluffy, was unwell for about 4 months and still gets bouts and we thought we'd have to do the unthinkable and I was in a mess for days.

The inspirations cj looks great and is lovely to read, I am looking forward to using buttons this month too.

Right, off to have a gander round the site, haven't been on since coming back from my conference, which went fine.

Thanks, I think it was my favourite of the weekend, and I loved the class. It was a scary one to do, putting things directly onto the carstock, but I was so pleased with the results. I am going to do a boy one as well sometime and put the two on facing pages in the album...might reverse that one to get the spead symetrical. I used one of the ideas with the stickers (that I didn't use on that LO) on another LO as well, so it was a great class! Thanks for doing it.

Will watch out for the cj coming.

Carolyn the cj has been returned to me, as it was tampered with according to the post office, all packaging ripped and label torn off. Luckily my return label was still visable so it was returned to me, will get it packed up again and repost tomorrow :)

I may have done a little sorting, there where lots of old screwed up receipts and bits! But maybe I should have left that in, it would probably say more about me! I remember thinking I was incredably vain as when I had that one I seemed to have the most make-up, perfumes, and beatifying things!

When sending your package recorded delivery does not help it when it goes missing in the post though. They can only track it once it is signed for. It is a non trackable service. So the only reason we do send via recoreded delivery is to know when some one actually receives it.


I know it is a bit pointless, but I always send it recored delivery.

Ok, I admit it. I just made the list of things in my handbag, and it had 17 assorted papers (minimum as I didn't pull apart things folded together) of which only 4 needed keeping and only 1 of those 4 needed to remain in my handbag! :blink:

What is happening about the missing journal, Are we all going to make pages of a specific size and then post direct to Cleo?

Afternoon Ladies, I have spoke to Cleo about the missing CJ and this is what we have decided to do.

Cleo is going to make a new CJ book and have it themed on fairies. Rather than sending the book round again, if we could all complete a 6x6 DLO and then post direct to Cleo at the end of the CJ - 16 July

Here are the details:-

Rules of the CJ

To do a DLO - 6x6

To use some form of fairy on your page- this can be any sort of fairy- good / bad evil, ugly/ pretty etc

To use the tecnique of the month (obviously the technique you would have done had you received it that month)

To make some form of tag for the sign in page



If anyone has a problem with doing this could you please let me know :D

Hi all, as I only received the Handbag cj last week I'm going to hold onto it for another week so that I'll have had it for 2 weeks and then Rene will have it for 2 weeks until the next posting date if that's ok, managed to take the photos of my handbag contents but not got round to doing my entry yet, might get a chance to do it Wednesday when I'm off, may get it to Rene for the weekend.

No just a LO that has fairies on, there is o story to this as it would be a bit hard to do

Have an idea for fairies if I can find a certain poem and some pictures to go with it. I even have some journalling about when I was very little to go with it as well.....and now I want to do a LO of this as well as a DLO for Cleo. Thanks for the subject, it made me remember something I haven't in years and years and smile and think of another page for a BOM.

Oh, and Mel, don't forget that I'm not posting to you this month as it would have been the lost one that came, so there should be plenty of time.

I'm sorry ladies but I haven't been on for awhile. I've pmd cleo to apologise. I've been getting my house ready for visitors and I've only just sent the inspirations today. No excuses simply forgot it was this week with the arrival of family from back home. It supposed to be with her before 12. I haven't had time to read the thread will do so in about a week. If any problems have mel call me.

I received music today. It is looking very good, very interesting entries.
There only appears to be one CD with it, and there are two of us still to do LO, but DH tells me we have plenty of CD's so not to worry.

I am really sorry that I am still behind with the cj, not having posted on music yet. I have had an rather intensive week, with two hospital appointments for DH, discovering he has to stop driving, appointments with the architect about the renovations and my back playing up which has made sitting with craft things difficult...all in the same week.

I have made a start and am hoping to finish it this weekend.

I haven't received cakes and bakes yet, but hasn't there been a postal strike?

Mel, the final one coming to you is the one I am still finishing, the music one. I am having to do it in very short spurts, but got a good ammount done yesterday and should have it ready to post to you on Monday.

Cakes and Bakes is what I am waiting to receive, and a signed for packet came this morning when we were out at Asda, and the card said to collect on Monday, so I presume that is it.

Have really enjoyed every minute. It's great getting to see all the different styles and ideas that we've all had and it will be fabby to see the pages that have been added to the CJ that I had early on.

I've been keeping my out on the thread about looking for a cj as I'd love to do another one.

ANd obviously it has been made all the better by such a fantastic host, looking after us all :)

I gave the music cj to DH on Wednesday morning to post when he went to the post office. He has just rung me to confirm that it has gone...today!!! I was not amused, esp as he also had the mortgage documents all that time as well.

Still it is now in the post, recorded first class.

I've got the recipes ready to post tomorrow, although the kids have just come in from school and made me move so they can get up and down the stairs, and since one of their jobs is to move the clean washing upstairs I suppose I had better let them. Just the pages to stick in the actual cj now.
