View Full Version : photobooks using scrap pages
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on the forum
Photobox and snapfish both offer a service where they make a book of your images. Has anyone used something like this for their scrap pages? I'm wanting to make a scrap book for a present and was planning on doing it on paper because I wasn't sure how I would put printed digital pages into a book, or how good it would look, but I really like the idea of these and I'm more confident with digi scrapping.
Which of these companies does anyone prefer for printing their pages?

Hello Rose,
I have used photobox many times, their stuff has always been very high quality. Just recently used their collague feature for my friends birthday present. I Made her a huge collague and left some of the squares blank and we all signed it. I love the site!

Hi Rose,
I visited a show in Bolton a few weeks ago and Unibind at home offer a product that you can put together yourself at home. It looks the same as the snapfish books. I bought a cream linen finish book which looks great, i've just started my pages for it. They also do a paper finish book, which i bought for my daughter, so she can draw on the cover too. They are really easy to use, such a simple idea, and i can do it all myself! well worth a look :)

you can print them at home you know, make the pages 8x8 and they feed through a normal printer. print directly onto bazzill and they look lovely :)

that is a super idea. is there a special setting for the printer to tell it what kind of paper it is going to print on? i know how to tell it photo paper...what setting did you use?
A friend at the crop I go to uses the following company (and I plan to when I get a batch of digi LO's done)!

Costs are very reasonable: 0.60p for a 12"x12" and 0.30p for an 8"x8" (plus p&p) which would work out cheaper than printing at home if you add in paper and inks.

I can recommend ds labs, quick service and good quality, I've used tham a few times now. Postage is £3 and at 60p a print still the cheapest I have found.

There is also a company called Shutterfly that makes great books of all sizes. Just Google the name.
