art journal, where do i start?

i really want to start an art journal, i bought a book but i am at a loss as to where to start? can anyone help me at all? xx

what do you mean by art journal? art you like and then comments or your own art work and bit of journalling?

an idea for the cover is paint splatters of different colours and then your title you could use chipboard letters in bright colours.

from what i could gather it is just a journal of your thoughts and stuff, address's , pics you like stuff like that but all collated in an arty creative way? correct me if i am wrong someone lol
