I have done a 12 x 12 LO today and I am chuffed to bit with it - it is some fav pics of my grandparents with DS1 (they have since died) - will take a picture tomorrow in daylight, also made 4 cards!! - I have used all my blossoms and some buttons, the ink, and used a bit of nearly every ribbon!!..............and I still have lots of ribbon left over - what a fabby kit this is - can't wait for the next one!!

Thanks for the welcomes. I've only just "discovered" ribbons over the last few months (since I started scrapbooking, really - I was a cardmaker for years before that but rarely used ribbons). I've bought a few ribbons from Little Silver Hat already but there's such a huge choice that I never really know where to start, so I thought a kit would be a good way to increase the number and variety of ribbons in my stash B)

well, very proud of myself - My DD3 has her 2nd birthday on the 21st March, so as this is the first day of spring, what better kit to use to make her birthday invitations than this fabby spring kit! You can cover them with paper too. Glue it on and sand down the edges.

I'm guessing you could wrap/stick ribbon on them too. Haven't tried it though.

Gosh you can do loads with chipboard flowers, they look good painted with a big brad in the middle, or you they look fab covered with patterned papers and the edges sanded. Even though they look heavy they are really light weight so great for cards too :) I'm sure the design team will come up with some inspiring ideas for you :wub:

I'm glad you all like the look of the kit, I based the colours on my fave Easter treat - Mini eggs :lol: it always comes down to food *sigh*

You can ink chipboard and emboss - do lots and lots - I've used lots of chip board alphas but no flowers so looking forward to this kit!!

oooh SCRUMMY!!!!! and those chipboard flowers are fab! ive had some of those before and they looked gorgeous tripple embossed with embossing powder - they also look fab covered in patterned paper - painted with acrylic and embossed with diamond glaze or similar. sprinkled with beads oh so much lol!

i only have a ickle boy who i always scrap , but i love this kit cos you can still use them on boys lo's aswell as girls. they can be very universal these ribbons iykwim.:D

This kit might seem girly at first glance but it contains quite a bit of blue and green aswell as pink and lilac. Lots of lovely soft colours that can be mixed with other kits really easily :)

Thank you for your comments on my LO I just love that ribbon Lianne. The silly thing is I didn't really notice it that much when I first got the kit. It was when I was looking for ribbon to go with the LO that I delved in to the pot ot look for co-ordinating colours that I noticed it. AND.......although it hurt me I actually cut it. LOL

I've got 2 boys too and initially thought I would have difficulty using the kit but instead, ideas were flowing. Hence, don't judge a kit by it's look! :) It's a very versatile kit for both male and female layouts!
