the kit has been found at the post office and I now have it - what a relief. Apparently they gave me the wrong parcel the day I went to pick it up as it's DH birthday and they never looked in the day before section. But it's sorted now and I'm off to play with it.

I've used the AC papers to make an exploding box. Haven't got round to uploading it yet but will take some pics soon. Actually really pleased with how it turned out; the patterns worked really well.

And I'm using some more of the SEI papers atm.

Must use more of them up before the next one arrives :D:D

I am so pleased with myself as I managed to use some (notice I say some He he) of the February kit. I have used lots of the ribbon and flowers on one LO which is a big improvement for me as I get a bit scared of using new stash as I don't want to use it all up usually. I will upoad it when I get it finished which I hope will be today.

Can't wait for the March kit Sarah. Hope I can bring myself to use that one too.

Hello, Thought I would introduce myself as a 'new subscriber'
I started with the Feb kit (thanks Sarah, it arrived safely last week!)
I am loving the kit and have enjoyed getting stuck into it (started it yesterday) it is very bright, but as I have 3 sons I find its a great collection to use for pictures of them.

I am not very good at putting colours together (yet) so getting it all in a kit is fab for me, I especially liked working with the black, but I am having a problem with my white pen...it seems to write a bit then stop then write a bit more, stop etc etc do you think it would help if i tried to warm it up a bit first? as I really want to finish off a LO with the journalling in the white pen directly on the black card

To be completely honest with you all when I received the Feb kit (my first ever) I wondered what had posessed me to sign up. I was :o - yep literally horrified by the papers. But having seen how everyone is using them I can't wait to get some time to scrap now ^_^

That's what I find is the beauty of kits, you never know if what you're going to receive is what you'd normally buy....but that is the best bit. I find I create layouts I didn't know I had in me. :)

It's funny isn't it because American Crafts are probably my fave papers but so many people say they have trouble scrapping with them, maybe it's because the patterns are so bold. Like Rebecca said, the beauty of kits is the challenge of trying something new :)

I have totally LOVED the Feb kit...its nearly all gone! I would never have chosen those colours or patterns in a million years... I tend to buy 'safe' colours and patterns, and therefore have ended up with what looks like a boring collection compared to the Feb kit.... having a subscription is really going to work out for someone like me:lol:

I have finally got around to doing a LO with this gorgeous kit :rolleyes:

I was stumped for ages because although I loved the colours the patterns weren't the kind of thing that I would have bought usually. But I kept them around and moving them every time I wanted to do something kept me thinking about them and eventually last night I decided that they would be ideal to go with some of my childhood pictures.

I got my March kit yesterday having made a second journey into town because the naughty postman left a card instead of leaving the kit with my neighbour! Don't I just know when the usual postie is on holiday! And no way could I wait until tomorrow to fetch it.

But it was well worth the trouble because it is gorgeous. I'm looking for photos to go with the papers already - I know what I want its just finding them.

Although not a subscriber - yet ( !!!) I managed to obtain the Imaginisce kit, and thought you'd like to see what I created. I can't believe that I still have so much stash left, despite making this paperbag book which measures nearly 8"x8" and includes 2 mini-books (each with 4 pages) and two huge tags !! I have enough left to make at least 2/3 scrap pages, and cards !!

Absolutely spot on, whatever you wanted to do with them they are sturdy enough, I have some fairly heavy embellishments on the one I did with all the buttons and chip/cardboard letters on and it still stands up straight. I used to think BG were good quality until these :lol: :D

Must admit though that the ribbons with the kit and the extra ones were very complimentary as well - almost too good to use!!!

Rach, you collect the loyalty stamps up for money off in the future. There's more info on the site. I think you get one stamp for every £10 you spend.

just thought I'd let you know that I managed to get DD to clean her desk in her bedroom by saying she could have the mini tote to put her crafting stuff in and she ran upstairs and did it. (Well in her fashion). And she has been crafting and drawing all weekend. Lyn, saw your comment about the border around the photos on my LO? On the largest photo, its actually a frame done with cardstock that sits on top of the patterned paper and photo. The smaller photo is part matted on the same card but because of the positioning, it looks like its all matted on one piece of cardstock. Ive put it in my gallery if you want a closer look, you can just about see the join at the top of the smaller photo against the frame :)
