When something is labeled "For personal use only" it means it is for YOUR personal use only.
You may not post it on UKS or any other message board or you are in breach of copyright.
You may not email or otherwise share the item or you are in breach of copyright.
You may not slightly alter the item and claim it as your own or you are in breach of copyright.
How does this apply to UKS?
Some examples: you may not scan a Sizzix dies, turn it into a GSD for the Craft Robo and share it on UKS
Likewise you can't create a GSD of an alphabet by QK and share it.
In fact, you may not create a file from any copywrite protected image and share it. This is true even if yo note it is copyright protected.
UKS will delete, without hesitation, any posted image or file that breaches copyright laws. Although we state very clearly in the T&C that you, as the poster, are solely responsible for the content of your posts (and thus any legal action resulting from your post will be against you and not UKS) we have an obligation to not facilitate the sharing of copyright protected information on the boards. As soon as we are made aware of it, be that by the owner of the copyright or someone who is aware that the material is protected, it will be removed.
If you, as a member, make a habit of posting copyright protected material, we will have no choice but to remove you from UKS.
Please be aware that we take this issue VERY seriously.
