I need a graphics tablet

As I improve using Photoshop Elements I am finding it difficult to be as detailed as I would like using a mouse. Can anyone point me in th right direction for a good, but not expensive, graphics tablet. I dont work any more so have limited funds. Can you also tell me what size I should be looking for.

I finally got one. Small so doesn't take up much desk space but plenty large enough to work with easily. Came with pen but no mouse. It is much easier to manipulate with a pen and far more accurate. Even had a free program download with it.
