We have turned off the email notifications from the gallery.
People are subscribing to whole categories so that when anyone uploads an image to that category they get an email. We are having to delete 300 to 400 bounced emails a day and its just taking up too much admin time to do this. A lot of people use hotmail to sign up for the forum. Hotmail is so bad now that it bounces most of the emails and our inbox gets stuffed full of these notifications.
Unfortunately the gallery doesn't give us the option to unsubscribe individual people from notifications, so this facility has been removed.
