February Week 2 Team Challenge - By The Groovy Chicks

Groovy Chick Challenge W/C 12 February 2007

As it is Valentine's Day this week, how could we resist challenging you to do a LO on a "lurve" theme.:wub:

It doesn't have to be a person to whom your "lurve" is directed, it could be a pet, a hobby, a country, an I-pod, or your latest fashion accessory, in fact anything you want to tell us about.

The team wanted to give you a challenge that was very "do-able" by everybody, so you have no excuses not to do this :D

Our points for this week's challenge are easy to collect.

Doing a LO on a Love theme 10 points
Use at least 4 different patterned paper scraps, ie not a new sheet 10 points
Use "hearts" on your Layout 10 points

I cheated a bit and scraplifted a LO from February's CK - it just fitted the challenge perfectly. Thanks Groovy Chicks for a great challenge which gave me the push to scrap a photo I had wanted to scrap for some time.

Think these papers are Fancy Pants - used 3 scraps of patterend plus 3/4 of a page of leftover Bazzill scalloped edge cardstock plus one new sheet for the base (hope that's allowed!!)

This is my youngest son. He doesn't need to wear glasses but these have become like a security blanket for him they are his Grampies old pair and they remind him of the man he loved and we lost last year. This is only my second ever LO, so I'm still finding it very tough!
