I know there is a help menu on the program but I find it awkward to read the help file then having to keep minimising it while I work. I wondered if anyone had bought a really useful book and could recommend it.

I'm going to PM you with a great digital scrapbooking site. I have just got PSE5 and have found it brilliant.

I have the same problems and find it hard to work with 2 windows open at the same time. I would reccommend the following books bought from amazon.
Scrapbooking with photoshop elements by Lynette Kent
Digital scrapbooking by Sally Beacham and Lori Davis which includes a CD of goodies to use

Photoshop elements collection is a fab book. It is mainly for photo editing but if want to learn how to use elements in easy speak it is the one to go for.
