Help with Photoshop Elements V5 brushses

Hi girls
I have never used photoshop before and I want to use a Missm brush that I downloaded. On page 20 of December Scrapbook Inspirations there is a tutorial for these. I can't get one image of the brush as in the picture. Mine come out with repeats all the time. Can anyone help please?

On my box the PSE5 came in there was a website that has tutorials and help on it. I'm at work so can't look right now but is it on your box. (The big outside box)

Not sure if it is any help, but if you click on more options in the top right hand corner, look for the spacing tab, and then slide it toward the right, it increases the space between each stroke of the brush. Not sure if that is what you mean, but hope it helps! I am not sure that I have described it that well, because I am no expert with the program, and only just started playing with digital, but it might help a bit!

Thanks both of you.I have managed to sort it after spending ages last night. I needed to use the stamp tool not the brush tool. I ended up with the effect I wanted. Will have to go through all the tutorials one by one or find a really good book on psv5
