Has anyone had problems with their CR cutting mirror card, mine seems to be snagging, although the design was complicated (one of the downloaded butterfly templates). Do I have a problem with my blade?

Any suggestion????

I think it's more likely to be a problem with the card being a bit thick for the CR to cut. Sometimes intricate and thick/heavy aren't an ideal combination! But try doing the cuts at a much slower speed, and possibly try doing a double cut. If you copy & paste you'll get a second template over the first, and when you send to cut it will go round twice.

One of the problems too with mirror card is that it tends to be a two layer card, plain card on the base and then the mirror on top. I have heard of some people cutting this with the mirror surface face down

Yes, I've sometimes cut mirror and metallic card upside down and it's worked fine. (I'd forgotten about that!!) But I've found that I'm getting better results cutting it with the Pro than I did when I had my "baby" Robo, as it can cut deeper and has more "oomph" behind it.

I think the size of the template, too, has a bearing; I tend to cut small things as I'm a card maker not a scrapper, and I have definitely found that some templates are much happier being cut in a larger size on thicker media - there's more room for the blade to swivel/manouvre on the fiddly bits!
