I started a book by water colouring afew pages. But that is as far as I got. I just freaked out what do I do now, do I do a theme or just go with the flow. I also was looking at other books that where completed and that was it I put at the bottom of my draw. I guess my question is what do you do when you are freaked out, and how do you keep going when you think your book s**ks.

I take a break!.......put it down and start something else..never be afraid to throw something away, everything is a learning curve. Don't labour over things, if it's not working out move on, there's always the next project!
Look on the altered art forum there's an altered page swap thing going on in the deco thread..see you there!

I dont have books and magazines to take images from, and on limited funds this might help with your inspiration. I did a Google search on images I liked (fish, parrots, fashion etc) and printed the pictures out, and simply stuck them into my novice journal, on pre-painted pages in different ways. they started out a bit yuk, but I'm enjoying it a bit more now.

Hope thats an idea for you, I'm hanging on to my first journal although I think its rubbish... its nice to see how far you've porogressed in say, a years time :)
