I got a packet of seeds that need planting in spring after first frost but expire on 12/2006 :(

dh reckons I should just open it all as it makes me fill a little sad each morning then it is over and done with,so I reckon thats what I will do.

I got a 12x12 plastic folder full of Club Scrap papers :wub: You got it just right Santa. I love them

well I have opened all mine and it did not get much better
small blue square chips
5 tiny bells that come in a huge pack in poundland(I got my kids some last week)
bunch daisys look like been took of something(bits of green missing on stems0
4 off white felt flowers with huge holes in the middle:unsure:
2 gift takes with to and from on the back
tescos parcel tie
I did get 2 yankee candles very aged(brown marks)on bottom but still love them because I can use them and some nice ribbon and 8 angel kisses flowers which are lovely and 4 ferrero rocher chocs(so not all bad)
The biggest surprise was a cross stitch door finger plate(again packaging aged)now i do cross stitch but this seems a very odd thing to sendI would need to buy a pattern,cotton and fabric and thats if I even wanted to screw this into my door.

I dont know whether my santa really thought I would like this stuff(nothing hardly is pink and girlie like I said in my profile)or because I said I was easily pleased(big mistake)thought she could pop things in from around her house that she did not want.any way on a lighter note anyone know how to alter a door finger plate:)

Cannot believe someone sent that - and there is not enough there for one every day either............ still, at least you have got it out of the way now, and some good bits from it.... and hopefully hasnt put you off totally and perhaps next time you will get a good one?!?!

On the 7th day of advent my Secret Santa sent to me ...............

a tube of Liquid Applique. I've seen this in shops but never tried it, so will be something new to have a go with. Thanks Santa - another super gift.

there was a pressie for everyday but did not want to bore you all with writing it all down and my big one was a hand knitted scarf which was in pink and would have been lovely if more thought had gone into rest.Santa as made my little girl happy though as she nicked the scarf as she ran out the door to school:)

On the 7th day I received a pack of velum letters and numbers,I have never seen these before, so now my head is thinking over ideas for making the most of them - thanks Santa :)

I really do not want to cause a stir and like I have said I do not even know if my santa really thought this stuff was ok to give ,it is opened now and I will not let it put me off next year.I am just pleased everyone else is getting lovely stuff and my swappee seems to be loving the stuff I have got her.(which I did put a lot of effort into reading posts,dislikes and looking into her gallery,infact i was nosey):)

I am happy to know that I judged correctly. I tried to pay attention to your likes and dislikes, but I almost blew it when I was choosing a bag full of lovely fibres and then read that you don't like them. So I went back and got something else!! :wub:

I got two lovely little Christmas embellishments: one is a candle and one is a Christmas tree. They are so cute and sparkly and would look great on a card or a LO. Did you make them yourself, Santa? If so, you are very talented!! Thank you so much.

Well I have been away off and on since the beginning of this month and I just cannot believe the comments that Lou has been making about my Advent Santa. I feel totally sick right now that she should think that i have gone around my house looking for things I didn't want and have to say that Lou you have not been fair in describing your presents. Yes I did look at your profile but it didn't help me much, maybe my fault for not getting it right but I did try. I looked at your LOs and found that you did all sorts of different things, so that was no help either. Seeds, well, I am sorry but if someone had sent me seeds then I would have loved to plant them but I didn't notice that they were out of date but I am sure that the ones I have bought for myself will come up nicely when the time comes.

This all makes me seem like such a cheapskate but I can assure you all that I have spent well over the £25 target (much nearer £30) and feel very upset that Lou feels as she does. I would like the rest of you to believe that all is not as it seems.
