well, you best get used to me at the front of the queue...i'll be downunder for most of the unwrapping, and they are 12hrs ahead of the UK!!!.

cant sleep so got up and writting lists and surfing the net, and now about to open my 1st pressie......

which is watermelon really big brads from bazzill.....thank you santa....:wub: ....i've been wanting to try this size but never remember to buy them!!.

I don't have a gift for day 1, I am really dissapointed, my santa has sent me 8gifts so I won't be on here most days, Sorry to spoil your day but I feel like I have been done. My likes and dislikes have been completely ignored, sorry if this upsets my santa, but I have worked hard on my gift parcel, and don't feel the same effort has been put into mine.

Oh Ali, poor you :( perhaps they misunderstood what we were doing.

I opened my box to find lovely Santa wrapped paper with beautiful tags and lush black fibres, covered in present tissue and looking scrummy, I have decanted them into a glass bowl as they look so nice. My first pressie was an Urban Lily sugar cube - I'm going to have fun with that, if I can decide which photos to use LOL

Tomorrow's present rattles - I'm excited already, but I promise not to peek until tomorrow.

Oh Ali, I am so sorry ....It takes all the gladness out of the day when someone upsets you like that. I feel awful for you ...and your Santa come to that ..how can anyone get it so wrong?

I feel really guilty now ...my Santa sent me ...a lovely decorated tin, you know like the playing cards come in? , but this one has three packets of microbeads .. in colours I haven't got .. AND a big packet of small true beads in super pinks and pastel colours. GORGEOUS!! THANK YOU so much.

Ali you must be feeling awful hun I'm so sorry :( You're not alone tho my sisiter is in another house advent swap has received nothing from her santa and the hosts haven't had much joy contacting her but the errant santa has received her box!!

Anyhow on a different note I am sitting here with a huge smile on my face thank you so much santa for my blonde moments dotty stamps :) I'm itching to play with them now but unfortunately I have other things to do first.

it doesn't seem so much fun to say now...but *hugs and snowy fluff* to my santa who sent me a cranberry coloured alcohol ink :wub: in a beautiful box full of elegantly wrapped gifts. I think that can be an problem with big swaps like this - so much expectation that if anything does go less than perfectly we feel so let down :( completely natural under the circumstances.

I really hope all of you who re waiting for parcels get deliveries tomorrow :)

Scrappybunny has asked for feedback for the way the swap has been run this year - I'll be asking that the deadline for posting is brought forward by a week to try adn give RM enough time to deliver to everyone :)

If anyone has any other feedback, could they let me or Nina know? thanks :)

Sorry to post my thanks so late Santa, didnt have a chance to get online yesterday!!
My Santa has sent the most beautifully wrapped gifts and included a sweetie tin for my daughter, she is so excited, and Fifi her favourite!!
The day one present was too sweet to open, each gift is labelled with tiny numbered baubles so cute!! But i managed to open it, to find a Lil Davis monogram foam stamp in an E for DDs name Ellie. Thank you soo much xx

Laura I'm even later than you, apologies to my Secret Santa. Lorraine/Fairysparkle was with me when I opened my box and there lying on top of all the presents (looking after them I think!!!) was the cutest, cuddliest frog, :wub: that I jumped more than him and that wasn't day ones pressie, it was a chipboard heart on a chain reday to decorate.

A brill 1st day and as I got to crop with my bestest friend allday aswell, even though we were a bit late.
