5 Sheets of A4 card in Christmas Colours...and I've used 2 of them already for my Christmas Cards...Thank you Santa...you were right..I did still need them!!:lol:

I took the paper off my box and there is a dead posh box inside! I was expecting a cardboard grocery box, but it's a gorgeous purple girlie fairy box with big handles and everything :wub: :wub:

and then I opened it! speechless!

loads of red and green ness, loads of sweeties :D, pressies for my girls and loads for me! :D:D:D

I had to have a good rumage to find the first pressie! I've had a good feel and have no idea what it is :lol: I'll open it in the morning if we get time before school.

DD has let me open mine now :rolleyes: and I got a selection of matchbooks most of which were in Christmas colours and will turn up in my Shimelle journal! One of them was bigger than the others and had papers in it as well. What a fab start!

Me again, if anyone has any ideas or comments on this way of handling this swap, then please can you PM me. Good comments or bad, scrappybunny needs feedback to ensure it goes smoothly again next year. Personally, I feel this way has been fab, and no hassle , so i would vote to do it again like this next year.

I'm happy to say that I don't have a CLUE who my Secret Santa is. I do know the postcode for the North Pole now but that doesn't help me & could be a double bluff anyway. I'm quite happy not knowing...yet!

My next was Nellis10 (due to the writing style on some labels) and I've just remembered something that has convinced me. Of course, I do have a reserve option too - Guillyflower (because of an item in her gallery).

Santa's pen is either a Sakura Gelly Roll or a Staedtler Gel Roller Point 0.4 (Santa used both!) Glad you like my notes - sorry there are no clues! :P

I qualified in 1991, worked in medicine for 6/12 then quickly moved to ophthalmology (always wanted to do eyes, my twin brother is partially sighted and went to blind school). I specialised in ophthalmic casualty and outpatients, became a nurse practitioner, did practice development and then lectured in ophthalmology at uni. My last job was a part-time mixture of practice development, teaching and writing policy. I left in April having had 19 years of the nhs, now I just play with my boys and sew cloth nappies. I might get a bit of health lecturing with the OU but otherwise I think nursing has probably had enough of me. When my youngest starts nursery next september I'll expand my business into children's clothing and I have a few more ideas too.
