Sorry it took a while, but DH keeps forgetting to leave me the digital camera. So I rather faked it with the scanner. Hopefully the combo of the words and the visuals will help you while you construct the book.

I have been trying to work something like this out in my head for another guider just on Friday.
You have saved me time and I can try and put one together for the District meeting in a couple of weeks.

Am I being cheeky if I ask for a photo of the finished thing too? I've followed the instctions and the pagees don't accordian! They kind of zig zag!

The little bits of red ribbon wrap from the font cover to the back cover, over the folded edges. That creates the "book" spine rather than allowing the pages to zig zag.
Sory, but I'm off in the Am till Monday -- I'll try to photo the spine for you when I get back!
(blimey! was that post REALLY from 2002!? Amazing how time flies :))
