Was planning on making my own Christmas cards and have the odd pack of 10 from Lakeland etc, but was wondering where it would be good to get lots of Christmas Card/Card blanks - like packs of 50 maybe? - (with/without aperture)?

I'd have cardstock for the cards, but not able to make any envelopes at the moment... :(

Ta! :)

I recently purchased a pack of 50 cards and envelopes from WH Smith, they were 1/2 price at £5.99. I bought white but they also had red and some metalic ones(I think that they may have been £7.99 but I cant be sure) anyway I thought that for 12p per card and envelope they were a bargain. Alternatively try The Range or Paper Mill shops if you have either of these nearby.

hi kat...i did see some white ones with seasonal greeting around the border.I'm trying to remember where i saw them...i think it was the papermill shop in Livingston?

Hope you find what you are looking for.I'll check my stash for envelopes for you.....i generally have hundreds of them as my mum sends me them. She works for a card makers and when they throw away cards she keeps all the envelopes and sends them to me!

Let me know what size envelopes you want and i'll have a look and see what i have.I can post them or hand them to you at the Nov crop?

Docrafts ones are OK, though the envelopes are a bit of a tight fit if you're like me and like to stick on loads of embellies! The Anita's ones are good value and more generous on envelopes. Asda does them very cheap but I don't know what the quality's like.

I tend to buy card blank and envelope boxes of about 50. I usually buy white, because I cover the fronts of my cards in most cases.

Sometimes I make my own cards.. but make sure I have an envelope to fit the finished card before I start. For that, I keep a selection of odd size/shaped envelopes around, usually purchased on sale somewhere.
