i think using stash from your shop would be fine....its about getting the most from your money....ive just paid £5 for an absolutly gorgeous suede 12x12 album by a very well know company its worth about £20 (or so the sticker said) and i intend giving that to my santa as the 25th pressie....(hope she's not looking!!!)

Themed items - yes or no? Yes and no (that helps doesn't it :wacko:). Er I use some themed things. I don't scrap xmas loads but will prob do 1 page, I do scrap my dog a lot and like dog things as long as they are not too naff. I am also currently doing a scrapbook of my Disney trip (hint hint!).

Strong likes.....Ie big fat hints - I love anything that adds texture, would like some more of the MM paints, cat's eye chalk pads, rub-on's other than alphas.

Strong dislikes....ie big no not's will put you in tears etc - Peel offs!!!, anything 'designed' by Dawn Bibby; ready made embellies like topper type-things, fibres, heritage stuff. I don't have kiddies so not baby/kiddy things. Hate 'cutesy' things.

I've also done a search on the "Member's List" part where you can search by user name and bring up all their posts on every thread. It gave me loads of info on what swops they like to do and what pifs and wishes they do which was a big clue (ie what do they give away and what do they wish for etc)

I feel super nosey now though :lol:

I went to my post office today and found they had the perfect size box. I wanted to be able to fit 12 x 12 things in but bigger than a pizza box for everything else. It was only just over a £1 too. I use lots of baby colours as I have alot of baby and toddlers LO's planned so anything along these line are fine.

Like ... metal embellies, distress ink pads, Tim Holz's alcohol inks , embossing powders, rub ons, baby/ toddler embellies, shaped brads/ eyelets such as dogs,animals etc..., parchment papers and patterns(just getting into this so only got the pricking tools and a couple of others at the mo), more glass paints, the metal sticky tape for using around glass and love fimo

Strong likes.....Ie big fat hints. chipboard, anything that will turn me into Elsie F!

Strong dislikes....ie big no not's will put you in tears etc..... cutesy things, heritage, novelty brads/eyelets, eyelets in general!

was out yesterday :D but I'm here now.

i have the following colurs: butterscotch, bottle, terracotta, stream, wild plum and denim and the ones i'm particulary hankering over are the farmers market ones : lettuce, cranberry and eggplant :D or red pepper...or...well they are all fab aren't they?! :wub:
