got very busy time coming swaps wise with advent swap, team advent swap and a xmas cracker swap and cyber crop etc so was hoping that i could have everyones jigsaws in before cyber crop ? how do you all feel about that hope this is ok?

sorry , everything was manic last month , had a friend wedding and we took my neice to Flamingoland for a week and then work was manic because we got an external inspection and all the extra work that goes with that and the fact that i have no internet at home ,meant to apologise Jean for my late payment for my kit , it went totally out of my head ,

Jean, just like to thank you for a gorgeous kit! Have been making the ornament but having seen Annie's with the memory glass am thinking of changing it to that! Spent ages doing the sequins and the cat was fascinated by them! Ended up losing lots of bits down the side of the sofa as well! Have managed to keep the other ornament so far!!!

right oh everybody the cyber crop is over and lots of fun was had by all:D
just wanted to let you know that i still havent received all the completed jigsaws. Things are getting very busy for all of us with xmas coming up. Can i just say that if i dont receive the completed jigsaws by the 9th of december i shall be returning all the sets ive received so far to the people who produced them.
I dont mean to offend anyone because the stuff that has been produced is gorgeous and i really love what everyone has done and i know life is very busy but i think its time that this was completed.
Feel free to pm me if you have anyproblems or want to bounce ideas around to get them complete.

Actually the idea was inspired by Kae. She covered one of her dominoes with smaframat and I now use this for all sorts.

Safmat is by Letraset, it's a transparent, self-adhesive printing film - and absolutely fab :) You print whatever image you want on it, then remove the backing and burnish it on whatever project you are doing :) It's kinda like making your own rub ons.

I did struggle using it with a sealer though as it all seemed to pucker when it dried. I assume the trick is to make sure the sealer doesn't get underneath? Any tips Kae?

Only advice I have is... don't give up!!! Lol. Took me 3 days to get it right (the domino) but it's still going strong :) It even survived the washing machine (no, it didn't go in there on purpose lol) - very impressed me :)

And yes, you don't want the sealer underneath the safmat image, only on top of it.

also as a group you need to decide what you want me to do with these jigsaws. i will pm the two people to find out the situation. Personally i dont want to have the jigsaws lying around anymore (well tucked up in a really usefull box:D) so it is my thought to return the beautifull pieces of artworks to there owners but i will go with what the majority of people say.
Im sorry if this upsets any of you but i think i've extended the deadlines enough since september?
Anyhoo please dont shoot the messenger lol but please please pm me if there are any problems about getting the pieces back cos i know sometimes life just gets in the way :)

just to let the girls in group 2 know - jackie-n-cara who is now known as something else (i wont divulge because of marital problems) will probably not be sending jigsaws back to us - you can pm me if you want details but suffice to say that ive had a few people pm me about her and im going to give her a few days but i think its a lost cause - i wont be leaving negative feedback because that would only cause more hurt in what must be a very difficult situation for her.
The other person who is outstanding im still waiting to hear from - ill update in a couple of days.

I'm sure I still have one more jigsaw undone (I had a set of 3 and did one for me). So I can do another lot or if we had anyone on a waiting list, as it were, I can send it to them. The one I decorated I can strip back if necessary if the last person doesn't come through. Some of the pieces have PP or embossing on, but can either be decorated over the top or use that as the background. You'd need to work out which bits each person was missing, though, Cherry, so that I know which bit needs to be in which theme.

Shall we say if you haven't heard from the second person by the weekend we can work out what to do? At least this way e1 can have a completed one, rather than have a piece or two missing.

hi guys - well no news from the two missing sets apart from what i told you before - so i guess its up to you all what we do.

I can post back the sets as they are
I can purchase two spare sets and post the blank pieces missing from your sets back to you all.

Other than that im open to suggestions as to what you would all like to do.

i dont mind bertbaby - truly - they are not expensive and as is if i send em back youll never have a full set - whereas if i do it i can see what pieces are missing and make sure you get the right ones IYKWIM
