Today has seen the launch of Daring Cardmakers (http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/) - a new dare blog but aimed at those of us that make cards instead of or as well as scrapping.

Jay, if you don't have a blog, you could upload to your UKS gallery and just post a comment linking to that :)

Not a cardmaker, but spotted this thread and decided to have a go. Well I now have 3 very pants friendship cards :P but since I don't have a blog I can't link to anything. Not going to start a blog just so I can do this - can you open it up to mere mortals, pls?

I originally started out as a cardmaker many moons ago.......and that then led into scrapbooking, ATC's, etc. Lately my cardmaking has seriously gone to pot and I've resorted to buying them 'EEK' :wacko: which always makes me feel very ashamed of myself!!

These challenges are great and I really think it may give my cardmaking that little spark which it so desparately needs........:D

kathy, have fallen in love with the card you did for the 'different language' dare, what an original take on this idea and what a TRULY beautiful card. wanted to leave a message on your blog for you asking how you made the flowers (are they fimo?) and to say how much i liked the card, but couldn't see how, so....here...thanks for sharing, its really inspired me. am off to play with my fimo now to 'card/scrap-lift the idea for a LO about my gran and her garden.....thanks so much!

I finally got the second or should I say original mid week card completed. I started it but I just couldn't get the design to work. So, I threw it in the drawer & made another the dots & tag one. All I have to do is persuade blogger to let me upload it, picasa was having a no day as well!!!
I got one done for last nights dare & have another up my sleeve for later but first I have to go for my massage & collect a kitchen utensil from my work mate!!!!! Well she's got one & I haven't. You'll discover more later!!:wacko:
