I'm looking for some stickers to put on the back of my cards. I normally use peel offs that i colour myself with peel off pens. But i'm getting a bit annoyed at that since i have just made over 20 cards and dont fancy colouring that many stickers.
So, do any of you buy yours from anywhere and if so, where? lol

I usually just put a sheet of small white stickers in the printer and print my own messge on them "Handmade by ..."
i make mine with those tiny address labels and print them off on the computer. Bit of a pain to set up as i used word art in them as well as normal text but worth the effort. Mine say designed and hand crafted by kelly bevan and my phone number.

I have a bit of a problem with that at the moment. The only printer i have is set up for my lap top, which has died. I cant set Chris's laptop up to use the computer as i cant find the disc. Plus i want a picture on the stickers too which i would,nt have the foggiest how to do it. lol

I stamp my "hand made by" on the back of the cards.

Clevercut (sponsor) do really nice metallic ones if you don't want to print your own, have any wording you want on them.HTH.

I send all my card blanks through my printer before I start to make the card then you can have anything you want on the back

Thats a good idea Andy, but i cant use my printer at the moment. If i need anything really bad then Chris will print out at school for me, so cant really get them to print all my cards for me, think the school might get a bit annoyed. lol

Hmmm... was just about to say that I got a stamp made.... but then saw your earlier post. Would definitely say you're picky! LOL!!!! :) Other than a stamp, I do recall seeing that Lakeland Limited were doing stickers. Not sure how their price compares to others but definitely worth a look!! The stickers are here (http://www.lakelandlimited.co.uk/product.aspx/crafts/stickers!4355)!
Have fun!

AbleLabels are the ones who make the labels they advertise in newsapaper mags (the ones full of adverts for walk-in baths and stairlifts!!)
Craft Creations do "Hand Made by ...." ones for you to fill in. I would think any local print shop could do the 65/sheet ones for you, but that might be very pricey.
You really need better access to a printer, hun!

Having a massive argument with PC World at the moment cos they replaced my hard drive in laptop after it died when it was 4 months old. Then 8.5 months later it went again. And you guessed it! Cos its 2 weeks out of warranty then they wasnt liable, until i got Trading Standards involved. But am still having trouble with them. But i will get it back and then chris said he can sort out put printer problem. I might end up pulling the house apart looking for the software to install onto other computers.
but surely the new drive should have come with a 12 month warranty, so it's not expired.......

Thats what i thought, which is why i got trading standards involved (was also told by someone on here to mention the word Watchdog to them too lol) PC World have written back to me and i now have to get an independant engineers report before they will look into it further. Then if the fault is down to the hard drive (which i'm certain it is) then they will fix it and give me a refund for the engineers report.

I cant set Chris's laptop up to use the computer as i cant find the disc.
you would be able to download the driver for the printer from the mfrs website. I often find this easier as you get updated drivers anyway.
I bought loads of stickers from Craft Creations but had them printed with my name, email and phone no.

I usually print my own onto a sheet of 65 stickers, so they're quite small.
I also just had some clear ones printed from able-labels so that they don't look obtrusive on different colours of card.

I got my stickers done at minilabel - they are on clear plastic so that they blend in with whatever coloured card I am using, but the writing is still easy to see.

Kelly, it may possibly be a faulty motherboard in the lap top which is causing the hard drives to fail. I had this happen some years ago with the first PC I owned: I had to have practically everything in it replaced in the first few months I had it - some parts several times, before they discovered it was the motherboard... It must have cost them well over the price of the PC for all those parts! But after that it was the most reliable machine I've owned.
And back to labels: I make my own with the tiny 65 to a sheet ones. I've usually bought plain white ones, but I was lucky enough to get some clear ones last year on ebay - at a silly price, and with a second pack thrown in free! Enough to last a lifetime almost. :D :D :D
Like Andy Pandy, I print details on the backs of most of my cards for fundraising, and for my other cards I use the labels. Some of them have a background image, and I've got a desk top publishing program which will let me add an image behind the text... But what I did in Word was to make two templates, one with just the image and one with text; that way I can print with or without the background. I print the image version off first if I'm using it, and then put the sheet through again to print the text. Avery (used to) do wizards/templates for all their different label sizes to use in Word - you could download them from their site.

Our foiled ones are very popular and we have done all sorts, from details of Charities etc to even the safety message for bulky cards!

I get labels off ebay too, sometimes you can drop on a real bargain. If you buy Avery ones you can download templates that set up the printing per sheet bit for you. I also got the able-label printer that's handy and prints great for the price. Also doesn't 7 gypsies or Making Memories do stamps with the alphabet on where you can make your own messages up?

There used to be stamp and alphabets kit from John Bull many years ago (- I think even when I was a small child!! -) that you could do that with...
