Yes, that's what happened last year. Just wrap them all up and number them with a tag or something and place them all in a box. Simple, yet fun. :)

Right I've done it! I've signed up - been umming and arrghing and working out whether my christmas budget can strech and it can!! Yay!! Don't you love it when that happens? I have been gathering and shopping all weekend and now have 25 gifts to wrap and number. I think I will have to get mine in the mail by the middle of November so that it will get there on time. What do you think? Is that enough time?

I wonder how I will remain anonymous! My postage stamp will give it away and don't you have to put a return address on the box? Any suggestions, or just give up and be out there?

Wow, 40% off - I wish we had great offers like that. Not completely sure how long things take to get here from the States but I'd post as soon as you've wrapped all your pressies up, just to be on the safe side. I know my MIL posted things to Canada during December (should have got there) and my nephew opened his birthday pressie (6th Jan) before his Christmas pressie :wacko:.

and regarding your parcel remaining a mystery, how about posting it to another UKS and one of us forwarding it on for you - although we will have to repackage your outer packaging and then pay postage for UK delivery, but as long as its not too heavy I dont mind doing (unless you are sending to me :lol: !!!). I cant really think of any other way but I'm sure someone else might have better suggestion (my head is very fuzzy at this time of the day!!!).

Here are my likes and dislikes. Very quickly and mainly off the top of my head so I will probably edit it later :lol:

Likes

Colours - I tend to use a lot of blue, green and orange. I love muted pink and brown together. I'm definitely open to new colour combinations.

I'm currently in a CJ where black and red are figuring heavily so any papers/card/flattish embellisments are great.

Just discovering doodling and am starting to be more confident with my own handwriting so pens are good.

Use brads/eyelets/ribbons.

I use an awful lot of double sided tape.

Have been thinking of giving glitter glue a go.

I love using monograms and alphabets. The letters I always seem to run out of are c, j & m.

I don't really have any favourite paper lines. I think every company has something I love. Generally I see something I like and use it although I do like SEI and Doodlebug but not the cutesy themed ones.

Got tons of holiday pics to scrap so beach stuff is good.

Like using stamps and don't have many inks.

I also love co-ordinated kits. That way I don't have to think too much :lol:

Non scrapping related items - I love chocolate in whatever form it comes although white is my favourite. Love smellies (except lavender). My favourite music is by Red Hot Chili Peppers but I already own everything they have recorded and all their books.

Just discovered Sassafrass Lass papers while sleuthing for my swapee. I love them even though they are floral.

DISLIKES

Cardmaking, metal plaques & quotes, lavender scents, cute themed papers, stickers (exept alpha), florals and bright pinks.

Don't really use bulky embellishments or fibres.

I don't drink alcohol.

I don't do altered art.

PPs: Basic Grey, K and Co, Rob and Bob, Junkitz, 3 Bugs in a Rug just to name a few, but like almost anything. Love coordinated kits/collections.

Idea books

Green is my favorite color, but I use everything.

I have been searching high and low for some kind of Celtic charm to put on a lo of my FIL and his father and brother taken when they were still in Scotland. They lived in both Ireland and Scotland before moving to America.

I love charms and fibers and rub-ons.

Love to get handmade things (tags, cards, pre-made layouts, etc.)

Dislikes

I only stamp a little and pretty much have what I want already.

I don't drink much except wine coolers and Mike's Hard Lemonade.

Nothing with a fragrance of any kind as it gives me a headache. Everything I buy is unscented and if I get perfume or scented candles from others, I usually re-gift it.

I don't do a lot of collage or extremely bumpy things.

Do LOs on either partner, Max or places we go to for days out National Trust/English Heritage / Museums
Natural colours are great (Autumnal reds, oranges, browns and greens) but like brighter colours too.
Like homemade items - especially if I can use them in Los.
Love Buttons - but can never bring myself to use them just like to sort and stroke and admire!
Like TH distress inks and chalk ink pads
Like stamping
Love all embellishments – am hoping to find myself using more eyelets and snaps now I have my lovely crop-a-dile. Have no preference of ones I love to use on LOs
Love learning & trying out new things so any tips or techniques you have and can share would be great!
Mainly do 12x12 Los and as I take loads of photos and journaling find myself mainly doing DLOs
Love lettering - different sizes and styles for titles. This can be QK or sizzix diecuts, rub-ons or stickers.
Like Patterned Paper – Scenic Route cause of the colours and its DS but like loads of others too so anything really goes.
Love to journaling on LOs – and nearly all my Los have it on (think only some class Los don’t)


DISLIKE

Do not like Tropical bright colours (just not Caribbean bright e.g. Cherry Arte Tropics IYSWIM)
Not a lover of TH inks
Admire altered art items but do not really do (maybe the odd notebook )
Admire Mini books and the like but do not really use them
Am not a girly girl - so pink, purples and flowers DO NOT rock my boat in large quantities! Do not mind the odd Prima but not on mass IYKWIM
Do not really need any more blue paper as went through a stage of buying loads of it but still not really used it!
Am not a smellies (bath stuff) kind of girl.

Cant have smellie stuff of any kind - if I am not allergic to it someone else in the house is.

Handmade stuff - love anything scrapping related - tag or matchbooks or altered notebook - anything like that.

Other stuff - I mostly scrap my holidays and my sisters kids. I love doing CJs. Currently doing an 8x8" of my hol to the US this year.

Went to a Close To My Heart demo/party last night and OF COURSE I booked a party for January LOL. The thing that mostly differentiates them from ******** Up is that all their stamps are the clear ones that you mount on a clear acrylic block. They are a lot less bulky and you don't need a stamp positioner. Now I just wish I hadn't already spent all of my $50 on my swapee! There were some cool things and they were reasonably priced. Next year I will know better.

Going to shop for furniture for the new house today. That's going to be fun! Checked out two stores and a catalog, but want to check this one more place too. I am getting excited about that too.

here's my likes/dislikes, etc:

I am 41, married to DH for 18 years and have 2DS's (12 & 8) and 1DD (3). Also have 15 year old black cat.

We celebrate everything in our house - birthdays, christmas, easter, halloween, valentines day, bonfire night... you name it I photograph it!!

We holiday mainly in England. We enjoy spending time together as a family - cycling, walking in the woods, etc..

I've been scrapping for about 4 years and already have quite a stock of stash! I don't really have a scrapping style - just go with the flow. I always scrap 12x12 - single and double LOs. I very rarely do altered things.

I particularly like:
- metal bits,
- flowers and ribbons (although I have loads already)
- patterned papers with script designs
- fav designers at the moment are - BasicGrey, Scenic Route, Junkitz & Urban Lily

I don't have a sizzix machine or other die cut system.

Don't particularly use:
- stickers except alphabets
- cutesy bits
- holographic bits !!!
- rubber stamps although I do use foam stamps and alphabet stamps.

This said, I would try anything!!

On the non-scrapping side I am a chocoholic (particularly mint chocolate) and love smellies especially bath products - bath bombs, bubble bath, etc..

Hi Alison!

Well Santa has been a busy bee and got several items which he hopes you will like :) But just wants to ask you some questions before the final shopping trips are done ....

Do you mainly scrapbook Matthew and Hannah or do you do christmas/easter holidays, day trips out too?

You have given us a lovely list of makes that you like and have taken note on trying to make sure that your pressies are linked (though there may be the odd one where you have think I have lost the plot completly but all will be revealed ..... eventually! :P :lol: ). But what I would really like to know is are there any "would love" lines in those ranges that you have not got yet or would love more off?

Also you could you let me know if you like chipboard items, metal embellishments, stickers (?!?), rubons etc as at the moment I have brads, ribbon (though how much do you already have!!! :wacko: :P :lol: ) and prima flowers.

Do I take it that you do like the shabby/distressed look too? And what about altering? And ranger inks do you mean the alchol ones or the distress pads (sorry its the old head gets confused!)

Am sure there was more things I should of asked but Mrs Santa has the list and my old head is not what it used to be you know!

well, such a lot of questions.......
I scrap anything I do- and yes, that includes Hannah and Matthew and also Christmas, easter, the zoo, park, eating cake... everything!! almost everything is 12x12.

would love lines- anything- there are loads of others I love, and I love a challenge- I love mystery bags of co-ordinated things that challenge me (like the cyber crop mystery kit etc. but nothing I am desperate fr=or ( I just bought the double sided Christmas paper from Basig grey though- couldn't resist any longer.

yes I like chipboard, but have a fair amount :) same with ribbon, prima and brads etc.... but the reason I have lots is I love them soooooo much!

not quite so keen on metal or stickers.

I love rub ons- useful words etc

yes I like distressed but also love doodlebug and its crisp style.... I love all styles except vintage floral pastel things ( though I do use pastel lots, just not in a chintzy style.


oh, and I have anew ink fetish- cats eye chalk inks- ANY colour as I use them SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much at the moment.

ermmm... dont really do many mini books as I am always so far behind my albums ( i have a family one and one for each child. :) )

I have taken off the outside wrapping but have resisted the temptation to unwrap the box that the presents are actually in. It looks really lovely and is sat in the kitchen. Every time I walk by it shouts "OPEN ME, OPEN ME!". I think I'm going to have to hide it somewhere to resist the temptation.:rolleyes:

Oooh Santa, so sorry to have missed this and I have been watching this thread but may have missed a few days.

Ithink I have been a good girl, but others might not think so. I have been guilty of not disclosing the actual cost of my scrapbooking goodies. Not telling fibs, but just not saying how much, if you get my meaning.

I expect I am too late with my answers now but just in case I can still be of help. I haven't been scrapbooking for very long really and dont really use many embellishments as I don't always know how to use them. Have ribbons coming out of my ears I am afraid and quite a few brads, but I will get around to using them a lot more when I have more time after Xmas. Don't have an eyelet setter yet so the eyelets I have already are gathering dust. I scrapbook my 2 year old DGS and holidays/ places that I visit. I don't really like retro, girly, modern papers. Can't seem to do anything with them. Like smellies sharper/fresher not heavy so much but I don't bath (Dirty Girl) but shower. Have just discovered Yankee tarts and have borrowed a burner off my daughter because I like them so much especially the fresher smelling ones.

Now Santa, if all this is too late then not to worry. I should have been more observant and I am sure I will love anything that you think I would.
