Post your Children and Baby Cards here for all to see and check back regularly for inspiration from the many talented ladies we have here :D
Every so often I will delete the comments posts, so that we can keep the images only, and hopefully this will build into a mini gallery of Baby and Children Cards :D

I have a baby gallery here (http://www.justamemory.co.uk/catalog/gallery.php?cid=18&rid=17)and a kids gallery here (http://www.justamemory.co.uk/catalog/gallery.php?cid=20&rid=17). Kids gallery doesnt have much at the moment. Must do something about that. Quite a few have instructions how to make them too.

heres a couple that I made. I hand cut the letters and put acetate and tetured paper behind, added confetti in a random pattern. They go down really well with parents!

There are a few boys ones on my website www.kidscoolart.co.uk they aren't the best pics so i need people to have more baby boys so i can make them.

Here's a couple I did a wee while ago. It's using the same stamp as the one Baby fairy did - never thought to use it for twins - genious! If you decoupage the feet and the duck it looks DEAD cute.

Here is a couple of baby boy and baby girl cards i made recently for the birth of my neice and my friends little boy. I may have seen this idea somewhere before but that might have just been ideas to use triangular cards. I honestly can't remember because i do not usually make cards.

wow there are some gorgeous cards, thanks all for sharing. Here is my attempt following the birth of a friends little girl yesterday, (sorry the scan isn't straight.)
493474934849349
the bear is a drawing of mine photocopied onto tracing paper and coloured in on the reverse using pantone marker and smudged.
The caterpillar is a drawing of mine coloured ith watercolour pencils and those shakey eyes stuck on.
The handprint was taken from my little sister and I made it into a stamp with fun foam. Each print came out slighty different due to the nature of the foam so they still lookied like genuine prints.
4946449465This is the stamp I made and the actual handprint that I took it from. As you can see from the card that parts are missing due to the paint shrinking back on the foam prior to stamping.

I needed to make a really quick new baby card (http://www.craftisland.co.uk/catalog/gallery.php?cid=2&pid=81&page=1). I had already die cut a sizzix design, intending to interchange sections, but because I needed a card immediately I just stuck the die cut on. I was really happy with the finished look too!

My first post in the cardmaking section. :) Letters are hand cut and chalked round the edges, as are the scallops on the mat. The mat and the letters have a shimmer chalk over them which doesn't show in the pic but really lifts them. I used wee rhinestones on the first L but the sparkle doesn't really show on the photo.

As I've just completed my first upload (in the July challenge) I thought I'd give it another go and share these birthday cards with you. I'm still fairly new to cardmaking, although I have always been interested crafts. I used to embroider quite a lot but my eyesight is not what it was and it gets to be quite a strain after a hard day at the office in front of the dreaded computer!
Anyway, to get back to the point here are a couple of children's cards I have made.

I've been playing around with my cute little Hero Arts dino stamp, which I bought with no idea where or how I was going to use it, but it was just too cute so had to have it.
I wanted a message along the lines of 'congratulations on your new little monster' but this is too wordy and my handwriting is not that nice so go with the baby boy.
DCWV spring stack, AC Ned Jnr sidekicks rub-ons, a cute little shrink plastic nappy pin cut from the Sizzlits doodlebug baby set.

Gorgeous cards from Fi and Vanessa - I do love scalloped circles as a frame!
Here's another I've posted on my blog: Not making much still with feeling off colour but this was an order I'd sort of committed to making...

ETA - Sorry about the rubbish pic - the background is all blurry and I've no idea why??

I seem to have been busy making cards for one year and two year olds. My dd went to her first proper birthday party this afternoon. Archie is 2 today. Next week we have Edith who is also 2. This week it is also Imogen's first birthday.
I have designed the cards using my Craft Robo and covered them in DCWV paper from the Spring Stack. The wooden embellies were from Hobbycraft and I have used balloon brads. The plastic letters were free from a magazine a few months ago.

As inspired by Patsy (and Linda for the QK font I'd forgotten I'd got), here are the new baby cards I've just made. I take no credit for the ideas, they're both Patsy's, but I loved them and so copied them, with her permission. Handcut, as I don't have the same cricut cart, so a bit fiddly, but I enjoyed it. Thanks!
(Have realised I didn't even ask what the new baby was to be called, d'oh)

Here are a couple of cards that could be used for children's birthday's, although I'd still like to receive one now!! I thought an age number would fit well on the balloons. The stamp is Imagine by Penny Black.

Here's a baby boy card i've made for one of my teamies. I was a bit annoyed with myself, when i stamped 'congratulations' on the wonk, but i'd already stuck everything else, so it'll have to stay that way now. Everything was cut on my Cricut, using various carts.

Heres a card made for DDs friend who is mad about horses. So thanks to a template in the robo section by 'my5kids' and some die cuts from a team mate ages ago this is what we came up with the text has been inked to give it a distressed feel.
