Post your Christmas Cards here for all to see and check back regularly for inspiration from the many talented ladies we have here :D

Every couple of weeks, I will go through the sticky threads and delete comments so that we can build up a thread of Cards :D

I've got a gallery for many of my more recent cards. Here's a selection from last Christmas:

http://cards.dozyrosy.com/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=48

I'm not really thinking of this year's yet! Last year I made around 60 for two Christmas card exchange groups   - they were mostly variations on the two doggy one in the gallery.

Some beautiful cards in this thread ladies

I am not prolific card maker but I do love doing Christmas (and family ones)
This is my first for this year starring fabby Tapestry Stamps and some glitter.

I think these are fun and easy to do but very effective.

here are my first three this year- I used a lot of peel-offs and stickers last year but that was the first thing I ever made and what started me scrapping- I have developed a bit since then

these are a set of stamps i got from the auction site- with embossing and inking. My favourite so far is the black and tan one.

I love the little santas---i really *need* a craft robo for my lettering!

here's my latest, i'm really pleased with it. Its for my sister and BIL - she is addicted to these little bears and they were the theme of her wedding last year...so this seems very appropriate

Oh I'm glad I found this thread, I haven't started on any for this year yet and I think I need to, last year I was making them all very much last minute (so last minute I didn't get around to taking any photos, which was a shame because they were lovely, alcohol inks on transparency with silver embossed stamped images on top).

These are the ones I did the year before. I made a batch of each. It was the first Christmas after I discovered scrapbooking and I'd never made any before (well not since being at infant school anyhow!)

I hope to see lots more ideas to inspire me, there've been some really nice ones so far.

Just made this one for my best pal in Canada.
I wanted to do something a little different, and am pleased with the effect I ended up with.
Basic Grey papers on front, inside back and the star.
Brown vellum embossed with copper on front, attached with copper brads.
Brown vellum embossed with copper on inside, attached with copper eyelets.
Star is embossed with copper on the edges, copper eyelet attached to the top right eyelet with some lustrous copper thread.

I hope she likes it.

The ds cs is American Crafts 'ornament' found it in a local post office the other day and liked it so got it without thinking about what I would use it for but it is perfect for this. Here are my final cards that I got done in time!

The Black & White Ribbon Tree Card was for my son and his partner. They had a Black and Silver Christmas Tree this year, which looked stunning so I thought it would be fun to do their card to match. It was quite large, I used two Sheets of A4 Bazzill Cardstock for the back and front, eyeletting them together and scoring down the front to make a spine. MM Gem Brads for decoration.

The Citrus Coloured Ribbon Tree Card was for my daughter and her partner - they have gone to the Maldives so thought the funky colours would work well :D

The Heart Tree card was for my husband. Ribbon and Love stone were all Doodlebug - cant remember what make the acrylic hearts were.

My grandaughters card was from a template on the Craft robo forum, I added the text and uses stickles to 'glitz' it up a bit.

My grandsons card, again was a template on the Craft robo fourm, I added the text and used up lots of old Jolee's and Peel offs to finish.

Thanks for looking :D :D

http://http://bp2.blogger.com/_fm74BhfeiQY/RqG3FBbf0xI/AAAAAAAAARg/6WrycT8Lt5k/s320/HOTPTreeElsie.jpg

I also used HOTP stamps - info on my blog too! Was fairly pleased with it as I need to make it fairly simple with so many to make lol!

Sorry can't get pic to work (what am I doing wrong??) tried to link from my blog??

I made this card for the Wednesday sketch challenge on SCS. The stamps are by TandaStamps (www.tandastamps.com) from the Christmas sets 5&6. I used Doodlebug Designs paper and coloured the image using copic marker pens.

Jo - I was told you could add IMG images from your blog? Am confused now?... :(

Patsy, the way I do it is to right click my blog image, copy the weblink, press the IMG button in your post here and paste the weblink in the box. In theory it's hotlinking, but as it's your blog it's your space so shouldn't be a problem

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my last card

There are some gorgeous stamped cards on here

This is one I made for a challenge (wiggly lines sketch). Have to say it's not my usual style but I had these pps and this gorgeous felt poinsetta so thought I'd have a go at making a more traditional card. The sentiment says 'Warm tidings' but is an acrylic stamp (quite fine) and so didn't emboss too well (even with detail powder) - so lesson learned. Think I might restamp on a piece of card and cover - quite like the rest of the card though lol!!!

Great one to have in stock for the grannies!

Well possibly a lot of you have seen this one if you popped onto my blog, but just in case you haven't here is one I made using some of Elzybell's new Christmas Stamps - Please excuse the naff lighting in this photo, need to get myself some decent lights when photographing - plus looking at it now you can't see any of the glitter or the shading around the igloo, so going to have to try and take a better photo tomorrow before I send them off to Elzybells!!!

This was a card I made for a weekly card challenge on another board. I used the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and I did add glitter to the embossing, it just doesn't show very well. I also added some silvery white shimmery fibers to the fold side of the card, but was too lazy to re-take the picture :).

The lavender card I made a while back ago with snowflakes that I cut on my Wishblade.

A few made using ATC's the ones behind apertures are designed so that you can take it out and keep whilst discarding the card. I'm gonna make some with photos too as ATC's are the right size for a purse. And the ATC sleeves are perfect for leaving the image so that is is easily removed

Here's one I made yesterday, I like it but I feel something is missing  I think I might just have to leave as is until I can find a greeting stamp that I am happy to use on it. What would you suggest?

My new magnolia stamps arrived so I couldn't wait to stamp and colour Tilda with her sledge and make a Christmas card!!! The little circle is cut from glitter card, embossed and then cut out and attached with my paper tagger so that it swings! The snowflakes are cut from glitter card too.

I made this one this afternoon with the new Figgy Pudding BG Papers. This is lifted from a design by Nicole Smith in Scrapbooktrends Cards Book.

I have been absent from crafting for some time, I have been influenced by creations at local craft store and also an online site for downloading papers etc. Haven't named them as I'm not sure I'm allowed to.

I don't want to claim the inspiration for these cards as my own because they are hugely influenced by others. I am so pleased that I have found crafting again. Thanks to those who have inspired me.

Hope you like my take on the cards.

Jackie

I cut the letters on the Expressions. It is really thick Doodlebug sugar coated glitter card and it cut it beautifully.

I have been making more over the last few days. I don't think I have made so much cards in ages. I have posted them on my blog, I have not put anything on it for an absolute age. http://craftspirations.blogspot.com/

Sally you have been very productive. They are fantastic.

Here is another one from me with another stamp fave of mine - Penny Blacks - and I have been to a caft fair this morning and bought several more. Every month I think right no more buying but somehow I can't help it!!!!

I was busy over the weekend making cards. I had a few cards commissioned and here are the results. I apologise for the pics - the colours just do not seem to have come out right. The snowflake card is actually on silver cardstock. The penguin card is white cardstock. The christmas Tree and poinsettia flower are from templates on the Craft Robo forum.

Those are just beautiful!

Here is one I made a couple of days ago. My colors in my photo are off too. The papers I used are not 'olivey'.
