Ok what am I doing wrong !!!

When I make them the confetti stuff sticks to the acetate!! what can I do to stop it so it shakes freely (ooo sounds rude!!)

Are you using sheets of acetate (and foam pads/strips) or the fancy inserts you can get for aperture cards?

how thick is the foam you're using to make the pockets? if it's not thick enough the confetti may just not have room to move properly, so the smallest amount of 'static' would cause it to stick....

Ahhh ok well im using strip foam not sure the thickness so I might have a look at a different thickness in the shop

i have been told to dust the assatate with telc as this is ment to make in not so staticy

Or wipe it with one of those anti static pad thingys, or a sheet of bounce or the like.

I would have thought the anti-static bag will do it.......... must be so frustrating.

I use acetate to make this card 47279 and the confetti did move about in it. I think it may just be the type of acetate as I did try to get this to go static to make the confetti stay in place whilst i did some other designs where i really needed them to be still for a while.

The type of acetate I was using is meant for a photocopier which does make things go static so I guess it's just made from different stuff.

its static cling that is preventing movement. Do you have dryer sheets in the UK? (the ones you pop in the dryer with wet clothes to prevent static cling?)

if so, that's a very inexpensive way of

a) preparing your acetate so that your shaker objects do not cling to the acetate

b) preparing your cardstock before embossing so that specks of invisible embossing powder doesn't inadvertently lay on the cardstock and get heat embossed in a place you do not want it.

The key is to use a freshly used one out of the dryer. You cannot use the same used dryer sheet. I don't know why, just is.

I imagine with confetti, that you most likely do have enough space (height) between acetate window and cardstock foundation. If this is the problem, I beleive previous posters have already addressed this concern.
