I'm starting a weekly (?) challenge for us in this new card forum to motivate all of us to complete cards. ***A NEW CHALLENGE WILL BE POSTED EACH SUNDAY OF THE WEEK***
I'm not on my own computer right now so don't have access to a scanner, so I'm going to cheat by posting a picture of a card design I'm particularly fond of at the moment.

Found it on the Hero Arts Website and its designed by Lisa Spangler (so that no one thinks I'm claiming anyone's work as my own).

Its Christmas inspired to get our juices flowing, but feel free to interpret this as freely as you'd like. Consider this a card-lift?

If you make a project using this sketch, please post a link here.

Thanks for playing!

interpret freely margaret!! It doesn't have to be christmassy at all. I was at my bf's house when I posted the challenge and didn't have access to my scanner at home to post just a sketch. So I apologise if I've biased any of you in any way.

There's some fabulous cards here!!!
Just what I needed to actually finish a card, thanks Ching. Here's my take, I used computer fonts/webdings though so I hope that is okay.http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=92365&cat=501

Thank you Margaret :D :D

Lovely cards Cheryl and Gillian :D

When you look at the different variations on one style, there is enough here in this first challenge alone to do 6 cards!

Cant wait till the next challenge :D

Just found this forum today... Way Cool! Thanks UKS and SMax...

Here is my card from the Sketch. I was making several of these cards, and this was fun to use a different layout using the sketch.

Hi - I scanned mine but when I try to upload it it says it is too big and I need to resize it manually ... I haven't got a clue lol !!! Other than taking a pic with the camera (which hubby dropped yesterday :( ) I can't put my pic on (unless he helps me resize it :) )

I've done the week #1 challenge too but my camera (on my phone) is not co-operating in taking a picture. It'll be on my blog when i get it done as UKS doesn't seem to like my phone pics! Off to have a look at week #2 :)
