Ideas for Card Making Designs and Challenges????

I'm soo thrilled to find a dedicated forum just for card making. Often times I find myself scrambling to make a card as each even approaches, that my goal this is year is to make a slew of cards AHEAD of time.

But I lack the motivation and ideas to actually sit down and work on making a card. ANyone else?

Wouldn't it be fun to have card design sketches? Or certain challenges that all motivate us to make cards? Anyone have any ideas??

I have plenty, but was wondering if anyone would be interested in a weekly or biweekly challenge in which we could all share our creative finished works?

ahhhh, so you brits call them cards maps...or layout maps? instead of sketches?

Would anyone like to initiate it? Or I'd be happy to create a weekly card map challenge?

I call them sketches too - and I mainly work from them to give me ideas - it worked for my scrapbooking when I had a blank, so I started drawing sketches for my cards too.

Or a challenge of the week for a mens card etc

As for challenges, there the current monthly challenge as well as the run rudolph one running for early Christmas card making... if there's any interest I could start up the weekly stash challenge again?

^_^ Yep, work definitely gets in the way... but it pays for those little stash sprees too....

Sooooo... if anyone wanting to resurrect the stash challenge has any particular brands/items they want to suggest as a challenge, I'll add them to the randomly picked list and post a new challenge next week. Might run it every other week so it's not too overwhelming and people get chance to join in. :)
