Hi Liana, I've yet to put in my application for the kit but I will do asap. I've been over at the unit today helping Vikki get ready for Alexandra Palace this weekend and managed to get a sneeky peek at the kit. It's lovely, I really like the shaker boxes and I think the Christina Cole papers are much to nice to use up all at once, I think I'll have to cut them into strips so they go further. Did you know Vikki has an open weekend on the 14th and 15th of October, you really should see her new unit, thousands of Items all in one place, It's like a little piece of scrapbook heaven.

I've just replied to your email, thanks. As you say, so long as the forms are done in time, the first kit you get will go out at the end of October. We have a good week or so to get everything in place application form/payment-wise, so all should be okay to get your first kit at the end of this month/beginning of November.

Just collected the kit from the PO. Like Chrissie, the papers are going to be a challenge for me as most of my LOs are bright and colourful. But I'll see. I'm thinking of using them for a mini book about my grandad as his clothes tend to be browns and greens etc.

Love the clipboard and will have a go at altering that later - probably with different papers though as I think I'll use it as a Valentines or Mother's day gift.

Have made a mini book for Spring using the Spring letters, took some photos whilst out with dog today to put in it. Know I have some pastel coloured rings somewhere but cannot find them, need to sort out stash again, so put together with brass ones for time being. Going to do inside tonight until NCIS comes on.

Hi all,
I've used this months kit to do most of my DLO for the March Wk 1 Weekly Challenge. Only bits I added that weren't part of this kit were the flowers (from the Nov or Dec kit though!!), the 3 adhesive gems (needed as part of the challenge) and the doodlebugs rub on lettering for the (E)"aster Hat". I had set these photo's aside for a while waiting for some inspiration of how to scrap them, so the kit was perfect timing for me - both for the challenge and to use the photo's. Thanks Vikki. :D :D :D

This was my first kit and I am in heaven with it. Its sooo gorgeous!
I have done a LO with some of the kit (in my gallery if anyone wants a look-see). There is so much in the kit, but its so pretty I dont want to cut the papers up!

What are Stickles?? Unless they're the blingy brads, I didn't get them in my kit:(. Love the wide black rik-rak, black'n'white papers, and embossed papers though....oh and the turquiose flowers. I've got a LO in mind to use the kit on - just need my photo's to arrive.

Jo, its a small bottle of glitter glue, well it is glitter glue but its nice and shimmery too. looks yummy in the middle of blossoms, you can make cute dots too.. oh and doodling...

the inspiration booklets have great ways to embellish the letters, paterened papers, cardstock, paint etc.

And I've finally got round to playing with the June kit ... the sparkley paper was perfect for my DD's Yr 11 Ball pics .... though everything (and I mean everything!!) is now covered in fine black glitter:lol::lol: The rub-on was quite wonderful .... I've had bad experiences with rub-ons in the past, but this one was a dream to use, even when using it on a curve.

I'm really sorry I didn't get a chance to post a teaser for you, I'll try harder next time I do a kit. I was just up against it time wise this month, finnished at 2am the night before I had to get it back to Vikki and the lights just not good for taking photo's at that time in the morning! :)

The kits lush though isn't it, I have to be honest I've had some UL papers sat in my stash for about a year and never done anything with them, so this was a real challenge for me too.

do you know if i'd need to bring anything with me for the workshop or will everything be provided?

i am so tempted to sign up for the workshop but i remember the workshops were pulled last year and am a little weary.

I am very confident the workshops won't be pulled this year - what they did in April was (so I understand) completely different. For the CTM workshop, you just need to bring yourself - no extra tools or anything. I am not sure if this is the same for all of the workshops - I would have thought so, though.

I think i'm gonna go for it and book a space!! quite nervou, not been at a workshop before and am quite shy so not sure how it will be like with strangers.. hopefully gonna go to my first crop on Sat so i'm really trying to branch out and not let shynes stop me from doing fun stuff!! - rambled on a bit there:D

jo, you'll love it!! been going since ds2(4) was a bump and it's never disapointed, i normally start saving a few months before as i tend to see more stuff than i have money for:lol: I love the stalls and the demo' and all the samples that are made for all the stalls!!
I love the feel of the place, most people are just uper friendly... even when I nearly took down a stall with my rogue buggy:rolleyes: :D
vikki's stall is always busy as her stall is full to the brim with yummies and hers is one of a few that have stuff you wont find on the other stalls.
there was this really cool pound ball machine thingy last time!!

:lol: just realised i sound like an advert for CTM!! lots of other fabby stalls and many are sponsors!! It's great to put faces behind the name/stores.

I was over at Vikki's yesterday as she was putting together the October and November kits, I'm lucky enough to be working on the October kit (wish I was doing both)!

Hopefully this month I'll have a little more time so will try and post a couple of 'bits' when I have finished.

Not had chance to post until now, but I also got the October kit on Wednesday.....and love it. I'm at an all day crop tomorrow so just need to find some suitable pics - the inspiration booklet had some great ieas that I may need to lift!! Will upload any that I do with the kit.
