'GoGo Create' (brought to you by ScrapaGoGo )THE Monthly Kit Club to belong to!
Here at ScrapaGoGo we are DEDICATED to delivering a great service and offering fabulous kits.
We are a Kit Club rather than a store that offers kits which means that each month you receive a kit that has been designed with the time, thought and care it warrants.
In fact we are pleased as punch to announce we were voted best UK kit in August's issue of The ScrapBook Magazine
Each month you will receive a 'full to the brim' kit, Inside each kit, you will find:
8 - 10 pages of cardstock, e.g Bazzill Basics, Scrapbook Sally & Prism.
8 - 10 sheets of patterned paper, at times these will include specialty papers such as vellum and transparency.
A selection of coordinating embellishments (usually whole packets!). Past kits have included brads, blossoms, bottles of prima flowers, ribbons, wooden tags, die cut sheets, letter stickers, paints, foam brushes, lunch pails, journaling pens, ...the list is endless!
Every Kit is based around a paper design chosen for the main theme of the kit (sometimes two!) and other items chosen to compliment the colours and feel of the papers.
Also included in the kit is a fab 12 page, professionally printed, full colour design booklet giving, detailed step by step instructions to 'scraplift' the design teams ideas, other projects, news and features as well as our fab ScrapMaps TM to follow.
Check out our website for FAQ's under 'Kit Info'
Happy Scrapping,
Lorraine and the 'GoGo Create' Team

What I plan to do is make a day/date that the 'Grab Its' go up each month. I think it would work the best for them to go up the first day of the month that they are for - what do you all think?

Lynn I created the heart with a craft knife - call me crazy but I enjoy hand cutting. I do now have the image as a jpeg so could have a play to see whether I can create a "dxf" file, I know I haven't got time tonight and I'm at my favourite all day crop tomorrow so the earliest would be Sunday.

Any single kits are released on the website so keep an eye out:)
We keep back half as dozen or so incase of any damages or 'lost in transit' kits.
When the full image is put up now and again a member or two chooses to 'skip a kit' which then frees up one or two for single purchase.

October single kits will go on the site mid September.
We have been inundated again with new subscribers and as we work well in advance to ensure all elements of the kits are in our hands (as well as give plenty of time for the DT to design with!) we only put up a certain number for sale each month for single kits and new subscriptions.
We pride ourselves with getting the kits out of the same date every month and with no subsititions etc which is why there is a time delay for new subscriptions.
September Kit is already here and being packed and designed with as I type....

Hi, Eileen :) Actually I don't mind handcutting but as I've bought the CR I thought I should be a bit more adventurous with it! And the heart on your LO is so lovely, if you get a chance to have a play that would be great. No rush though, as I'm going away for a few days on Monday.

Well, have to say how much I loved this months kit. Started a LO last night for the weekly challenge, as as our monthly crop has had to be cancelled because Jo is poorly... my mum came round here, so have had a busy day and have managed 6 LO from my kit....and gave my mum the rest of the papers . Will scan and upload some later... can't wait for next one now.
This is a first for me - got the kit on Wednesday and used on Saturday.. scary!

I am so upset. I went to Lorraine's on Monday and I now can't find my black craft mates bag.....I had it there as I looked for brads, and I have not been anywhere else this week...and it is not anywhere...I have hunted high and low.
I had approx £100 of MM Memories Metal Letters, Bazzill Brads, Primas, Buttons....the list is too long to mention.
I have emailed Lorraine, so lets hope she has found it, but didn't know who it belonged to...as I know she had a full house on the Tuesday.
Keep your fingers crossed everyone....

Why of course!
I took receipt of the new ones with Friday's US delivery:)
I have been working my socks off getting a new company to make the stamps at a better price and turn around and am pleased to announce that I have succeed!
Although the stamps in the tin are great there have been a few problems during the time we have used them, over 1/4 of the stock each month have had dented packaging making them unsellable. The price has also risen and is about to again:(
Soooooooooo, Hey Presto we have new stamps! These will have packaging that can also be used for storage and although September's stamps are here the new storage for them won't start until October.
There will be a new option to subscribe to the stamps at just an extra £4 a month on top of the kit! There are fewer stamps (approx 1/3 smaller pack) but there are better qualitity and gorgeous designs. So watch this space...

I had a quick look at the new stamps yesterday, and I think you will all be very pleased with them, the quality is probably better, less in number, and a much better price. Can't go wrong there really. However saying that, I was partial to the old circular tins, damaged or not, and the stamps were great, especially this months. My 11 year son old spent loads of time at the crop yesterday, piecing together the flower petals and stamping them on spare card, they really are beautiful.
I'm looking forward to seeing many more LOs from this months kits. I've already commented on some.

My kit arrived safe and sound :D . Haven't opened it yet as need to chase a parcel which hasn't arrived :( . Will have a play later.
Thanks Lorraine for your usual excellent service. In all the reading of this thread I've been doing to catch up there was mention of delaying kits if you are away. I think that is a great idea as the parcels I had while away - one was incorrectly addressed and delivered to a neighbour, one was at another neighbour, one was at a couriers and 3 were at the PO. Not that I do most of my shopping online or anything  . Oh yes, also like the idea of a set day for the add-ons.
While I'm at it, are the invoices for next month on their way to us? Not had cherry arte papers before and don't want to miss out!
Thanks.

Unfortunately not :( . Mainly boring stuff like school bags and pumps, some kids clothes in the sale. There was a couple of more interesting parcels .... oh yes, one came in a bright yellow box. Who could that have been from   . Unfortunately I am missing one parcel, which is from the states. It is about a week later than I normally get it, hopefully customs are just giving it the once over and it's not lost forever  .

Yes, I must admit the missing parcel is stash - another kit I subscribe to. I have ordered from the states before, but try not to unless I'm struggling to get a paper I particularly want. I've been through a wild asparagus phase and found it difficult to get what I wanted here, so on that occasion I ordered from the US.

just popping on to say - my stamps arrived - they are brilliant as usual - must say I will be sad not to received the round tins but I understand the problems that Lorraine has had
There may not be tins from now on but we are working on special storage for the new ones and if you subscribe to the stamps as an extra you receive the storage free!!!
The stamp set are approx 6"x3" packs and September's have 6 stamps in them that coordinate beautifully with September's Kit. The price is just £4.50 for subscribers and the new packaging will start in October.
There will be an option to subscribe when the 'Grab Its' go up the first week of September.

The 'GoGo Have A Gander' link is from the home page (where it says September GoGo Gander in orange).
We used to put it on the home page but some people like a surprise.
The Grab Its and full image will be up September 1st (or if there is a problem still in the first week of the month!).
The new stamp subscription will be up then too,

:(
All kits were posted Tuesday 15th August - a bulk Royal Mail collection.
I kept back some spares in case of AWOL parcels as last month was awful for missing parcels - 6 in total!
So far this month we have 4 gone missing - yours make 5 now:( I did hope that the new bright yellow boxes, return labels etc would help the situation but it doesn't seen like it...
I will fill in a claim for to go with the others tomorrow and try and get a replacement to you asap.
Please let me know if your local PO has seen a yellow box hidden in their unclaimed dept:)

I'm going to pop down to my local PO this afternoon.Just to check if it has been held there and the postie just forgot to leave a red card.
My postie is a regular (unless on holiday).I'm expecting other stuff to arrive like birthday present and they haven't arrived yet either!! :(
I'll let you know if it turns up lorraine.

I've just found my missing parcel. It has been at the PO since 18th. No red note re attempted delivery and also they failed to find it when I went there on Monday. However, when I phoned today there it was! Don't know how that works, the post office must have a world of their own! So make sure you get them to triple check before you believe a word they say!!! (Love the posties really after all most months post arrives OK)

I think the yellow boxes should really work in our favour, because no-one is going to miss them, not even in a massive city sorting office, like ours here in Norwich.
I do hope they turn up soon, but I think it is worth pestering the sorting offices a bit.
soojay
23-08-2006, 03:55 PM
How on earth can they lose THOSE boxes??!!..its beyond me!
My sorting office is a tiny village one and they seem to think I'm very strange when I call to see if they have something for me. The postman would have left a card they say, but seems not always so. Difficult when you don't know when a parcel is coming. Can't keep calling them up just in case. Am currently awaiting a prize from the USA. They're not sure if they have sent it surface or Airmail and has been 3 weeks so far. Apparently can be up to 8 weeks if surface mail, 5 days if Airmail so don't know when to shout. And of course could be in Customs :(
At least we know when the yellow box is on it's way.:D

Another from the August (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=88082&cat=2) kit, not sure about it though, feels like theres something missing on it - then when I try to add somethings in the empty corners, it looks wrong. Ah well, probably best to leave well alone then LOL

OK ladies Gallery uploaded once more:)
There is some fab work being done from August 'GoGo Create'
Busy getting the rest of September 'GoGo Grab Its!' ready for being re homed.
The 'Grab It' department will be open for business 1st September - I may even stay up late the 31st and release them at midnight but no promising as I am renowned for falling asleep as soon as I sit down for the evening:wacko:
You will be emailed a discount code for member 10% off and it will also appear on the home page and UKS 'A word from the sponsors' and on this chat thread:)
No adjustments can be made after your purchase to the discount if you have forgotten to use it this time - sorry:rolleyes:

Aww now 1am I can do, it's 9am I'm not fond of.......so either midnight or midday is good for me, can't have my favourite items going quick can I? How will my creative juices flow as well?
Oh not lunchtime as those who work have no chance :( Midnight is good, Always enough left for early risers and late nighters can stay up.

Hehehe! Poor Lorraine - you're never going to please all of us all of the time
Maybe you'll have to introduce a subscription for grabits too... I know I ALWAYS want the regular ones such as cardstock and the extra bag-of-bits. The other bits and bobs depends on what they are, and I wouldn't be upset to miss them 'cos they're available elsewhere. Although it would be nice if we could still see what they were even when sold out, instead of vanishing altogether from the site.

They are indeed Gem Brads:wub: and the paint is metallic and looks gorgeous on chipboard or used with the Junkitz foam stamp.
The design booklet is bursting with scrummy-ness too, and we have a special guest from Cherry Artes design team with a fab LO in the booklet - I incorrectly mentioned she was from US but it is actually Austraila, cool:P

Julie it is because the allocated number of stamps for September subscription start have now sold out.
I am not going to move any over from the single purchase stamps (released with September Grab It's at midnight) as I want there to be some for sale for folks that don't wish to subscribe to this element.
There will be an increase in stamp subscription products for sale starting with October stamps after September Kit goes out.
Hope that the above makes sense,
