they have a talking dymo machine for 9.99 but of more interest were packs of a purply, reddy and bluey coloured tape (not the usual blue and red I hasten to add) in the back to school stuff............

Fantastic, definitely going to buy one now. The only thing stopping me before was the lack of colour choices. Thanks :)

But did you know that you dont have to use only Dymo Tape? Mine ran out a long time ago and mum told me i could use card instead. Just cut cad the the right width and put through machine as you normally do. The you can chalk it or ink it etc. The you have millions of colours and it isnt as expensive when you realise that you have spelt something wrong (i did this when writing 'Many Congratulations', i missed a letter out and it was quite a long bit of tape i had to throw away. lol)

I think this is on offer in WHSmiths right now - about £15 :)

Anyone know if the Dymo junior is still available? WHSmiths had it last week and as soon as I've been paid and I go in for it I can only find this new version at £4 more expensive, just because it clicks!

I got these yesterday. FAB. and they were cheaper than the usual colours - cool.

The big talking machine looked good, i have, well DS has the junior although it is always in my tote:unsure: so kind of Father Christmas to bring a prezzie to my son that mummy could use too.;)

Think maybe SAnta needs to bring that new machine for him ALONE!!!

I have got both Letra Tag Dymo (a bit of a silly purchase - i suppose you'd call it the electric one!) and the Junior. A friend of mine got the Letra Tag from QVC and she got clear tapes - if only I could find the clear tapes for the Letra Tag, I would use it heaps more as they are excellent, and can do really small journalling!

hummmph!! dont know where they were :(

I did find yellow, blue, red in ryman. and a few other places had green as well as some unlaminated diff coloured.

I found an ebay seller in us who has 4 pack for $19.99. shipping is $10 whic all comes to £15.75. cheapest i find tape for here is £4.99 each so you still save £5.

I'll pm you link.

When I got a pack of the new dymo colours in staples, they did have a pack of 3 tapes for the letratag - think it was paper, yellow plastic and silver metallic for just under £7 I think... £6.79 or £6.89 - something like that if that helps? No clear though I dont think..

Alibri

No Kathleen - thanks! I am just after the clear - not interested in any of the other colours for the Letra Tag :( - I use my Junior dymo for the other colours ...

In the end, I googled for it, and went to www.labelzone.co.uk just cos I thought there must be SOME available in the UK - it is a bit of a bummer and works out expensive - because you pay vat and £2.50 postage on top! But I went for 2 lots of tape - and it seems like there's two rolls per lot - so I will definitely have to make it worth my while now! Thanks for bringing it up girls - otherwise I would have been continually faffing around with it!!

Nevertheless, thanks a lot for your help, Peechy! :D

Not yet - but I will do once I've received the clear tape! I wouldn't put any other colour on my layout - all the other tapes are very bright and plasticky! To be honest, Amelie - I thought I'd made a massive and expensive mistake buying this - at least with the clear tape the Letra tag will come in useful and be quick for journalling! But I don't think it is worth it to buy it just for that reason!
