Oh boo ! Dont know about anyone one else but I'm not interested in Christmas just yet, still want to play with flowers and seasides etc.
Thats the great thing about scrapbooking, you dont have to do it all in advance like making Christmas cards in the SUMMER !!!
Bring back Lisa Bearnson etc with fresh, new ideas....:P

Hi,
Yes I watched the 2 hrs of xmas yesterday and was wondering why they didn't have other stuff. I went out in the end. Unless you sell cards by the thousands there is only so many xmas kits you need.
I did like the 12 x 12 papers though but thought they were dear at £23 for so few.

Its a fair cop viva1angel.......It was card making but not Christmas, and also was scrapbooking. I guess it had to have the cards to keep the Bibster happy and a good many QVC craft watchers who sell their cards often for good causes and charities. :)

i did manage to buy a lush gold scrapping kit off there for about £12 yesterday but it's sold out now, there's still not enough scrapbooking on there though! i did think though that the last craft day was better for scrapbooking than the one prior to it, 7gypsies rock! i do love christmas though so dont mind the christmas stuff, hence the scrapping purchase yesterday!

It's about time they had a scrapbooking TSV,especially as most of this can cross over to cardmaking. Monday 28th Aug at 3pm there's a scrapbooking hour on QVC and on Weds 30th Anna Griffin is on at 10am,4pm and 9pm.....

I'd like to think that one day we might just get the TSV that the USA have today - the purple quickutz one with the blossom alphabet, binder, shapes and stamps and stuff - it works out at about £90 plus p&p (IF we were allowed to order it, which we're not :(). I think I'm probably living in cuckoo l;and though.

It's times like this that I really wish I knew someone who lived in the States.

Looks like there may be 2 TSVs tonight from what I can gather. These are on the website. One is the Christmas papers and embelishments and the other is cards. I think this is what they may be but don't quote me on it.

I don't know that I need more xmas card making stuff either but I'll probably watch some of the shows anyway - hopefully there might be guest demonstrators and maybe some scrapping stuff. The p&p is so expensive though!

This is what they say about it on the website:

All you need to make charming Christmas cards! There's 100 sheets of 19cmx23cm patterned paper, 12 sheets of card quotes in 72 designs, 6 sheets of tags, 2 sheets of alphabet tiles, 6 sheets of overlays, 18 brad dress-ups, 3 soft charms, 2 packs of gold and silver star confetti, 7 ribbons, 68 card ideas with instructions, 260 brads in Santa hats, snowflake, music notes, gold and silver stars, mini silver stars, rounds, mini rounds, squares, mini squares, bows and stockings. Go to Don't Miss to see our other crafting Today's Special Value offer!

It does look nice. the papers and stuff could be used for scrapping as well.

btw, does anyone know how to see the products that are on the show ahead of time? i know that some people do it because they've mentioned it because of how fast things were selling that weren't even seen yet.

Can't say either of the TSVs gets me excited, and I would still class myself as being more of a card maker than a scrapper ---- but the set they had on Create & Craft today with the inserts was very nice (and fell into my basket along with the Pick of the Day trimmer and a couple of other items!)

The one think I do like about C&C is that if you add lots of different items to the same order the postage is reduced without them being the same item code, and is normally capped at just under £7 -- it's about time QVC did the same

Took me a while to twig what was wrong with the desciption (in my eyes anyway) --- the papers aren't even A4 size

Have placed my order as it is a HOTP Cardmaker's Ultimate Christmas Kit. I need a new Christmas Cardmaker's pack as I used up most of mine last year.

The problem I have with C&C is it's fine if you do want to place a large order, but if you want one item - the p&p is ridiculous! I think the lowest p&p charge they do now is £3.90, and the vast majority is £4.90.

And whilst I quite like the look of the papers and embellishments, I still have a big problem with HOTP after all the hoo-ha over their distribution methods (and as Cheryl said, the papers aren't even A4!).
