Help! Have I lost all my photos?

I think my computer has crashed, nothing is happening just keeps asking me to reboot and pressing the F10 key does nothing!:( :(

I am waiting for my DB to call in after work tonight but I feel it has crashed so probably have to reformat the drive or what ever it is you do.

The question is... Have I lost all my photos? is there any way of saving them?

Depends how bad the hard disk has failed. Usually some parts can be recovered. Good luck.

Depends on what the exact problem is as to whether it affects the hard drive where your photos are stored. It could be all manner of other things that's making the computer crash.

If the hard drive is the problem, it is possible to recover files from a damaged hard drive but companies charge through the roof for this service.
