editing help in photoshop

I took some shots of amazing scenery on my recent trip to Austria but in most of the views that contained lakes and mountains, the sky and lakes appear very dull and not at all as they were. Is there away to improve the blueness without turning all the other parts blue iyswim? Anhy advice would be much appreciated. I have photoshop 4

Are levels and curves available in PS 4??
If i want to 'boost' a colour I tend to use either curves or levels to gently boost it. You can then use the levels/curves to adjust the other colours if you think you've gone too far.
Make sure you duplicate the layer first though, then if you go wrong you can delete the layer and go back to square one really easily :)
