just got photoshop 5.0, still tagging the thousands of photos both on laptop and desktop.... tried digi but don't 'get' layers, i even went on a 10 week course last year but still struggle. have bookmarked the web site mentioned earlier.

Kirsty, I have photoshop 7 & love it. There are two things that I would like to have that are in CS2 but not 7.0, these are:

1) CS2 is placing text on a path - i.e. draw a line or circle etc & make your text go along it.
2) some brushes downloaded are not compatible with photoshop 7 - but you can get around that using a png file that normally comes with it to create a brush instead (or by using abrviewer to create a png file).

Not sure how much you know about photoshop - let me know if you want more info.

Thanks, I know nothing abut photoshop ;) just thought it was about time I tried to get a program that I could use to do things with my photos (iykwim)
