I'm doing a lo of my dear friend and she's sent me this photo but when I try to print it's just too dark and I wondered if any of you 'whizzes' would be able to do something to it so I can print and use it?
I have attached the pic below and have full permission to upload and use the pic :)
Thanks in advance

I also have this pic which keeps printing it all purple :(
Is there something I'm doing wrong? My printer isn't a proper photo printer so maybe that's it? Please help.... :(

It might be worth cleaning your printer. My colours always go wonky when the
heads get dirty.

Well I've had a go with this one...but it's difficult to lighten it without losing some of the contrast in the water.
See what you think.

Jacks Mum - I had a go with yours just masking the people to adjust the curves so you don't lose the water definition. Its not great but it's a start. If you e mail me a higher res scan of it I will have another go though. Mel@atripdownmemorylane.co.uk

Definitely clean your print heads - if one colour is blocked a bit, it will come out with a tint.
