not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it seems as good a section as any! Thought you might like to know that according a mag I've just read, The Range is opening three new stores - in Bournemouth, Bolton and Nottingham. I think it's also going to start offering internest shopping.

Won't be as good as our UKS sponsors, though!

I wouldn't get too exited, the nearest one to me (Norwich) seems to have alot of craft stuff, but it's all pretty basic, docrafts and not much else, little shops are better. It wasn't any cheaper either.

Our Range here in Plymouth is great too :)

The only PP's they do are the DCWV range tho, but loads of scrummy AC ribbons sets

Loads of brads, eyelets, rub-ons, peel-offs and card making 'stuff', inks, stamps, CS, albums etc, etc

None round here - I wonder why - retailers planning decisions totally baffle me!

Our range is ok!! Has loads of brads, DoCrafts, HOTP, papermania, DCWV, and ribbons. Bought some of the new Baby anita's ribbon for 99p each, the new XCut border system for £3.99, and some papermania papers for my card making. For my scrapping stash i only buy from the sponsors as these large stores dont stock that much. plus i'm now well and truly addicted to internet shopping. i stalk the postman daily for my parcels (its like Christmas when i receive my pizza box!).

 Yikes! The very concept of a "stash diet" is horribly scary - and I know I'm just as much in need of one as I am of a calorie controlled diet! Crafting really is horribly addictive. I sold over 160 cards last weekend (I did a stall with a friend for charity) and the more I look round my craft room and avoid tidying up, the more I realise there's probably enough stuff for another thousand !

All I need is more willpower and more organisation - surely that's not asking for too much?

Although I can't say I find The Range particularly inspiring or cheap, and I prefer to use "real" shops or sponsors, I still manage to spend when I go to the one in Leeds, thankfully not very often. What they are GREAT for is truly TACKY stuff for Christmas!

hee hee I like shopping at the range because I put my purchases with other halfs stuff at the till, normally hidden underneath...and he forgets about it and then praises me for keeping within my craft stuff budget for that month!
