Found some ultra-cheap storage drawers

that hold 12 x 12. :D Set of 3 plastic drawers on wheels in a nice lilac to match my hall. It was reduced from £19.99 to £9.99 at Argos plus it came with a free set of 3 single shirt boxes.

Inside drawersize on lilac one 12" x 19" x 6" deep
inside size on shirt boxes 10 3/4" x 14 1/4" x 5 1/2" approx.

Unfortunately mine were earmarked for tidying up the grandchildren's toys rather than scrapbooking stuff. :rolleyes:

I was only just trying to work out my 'new' (seventh time lucky!!!!) storage/workspace area, when I realised that I was short of 'drawers' that was big enough for 12x12. ----- Well I'm not short any more:D (well ok I am short, as in NOT TALL, but not short of ideas for my revamped scrappin' space!) as I love these and I will go shopping tomorrow!!

I am getting two tomorrow - one for me and one for DD. She is getting a new bed at the weekedn that has a play area underneath so this will be perfect to fit under there for all her barbies... the free boxes will be mine though. The other set is for my craft stuff as I have drawers everywhere so thought this would at least keep everything in one place!!1

If you look at the argos store online they have a facility so you can check supply in your local shops. Saves the petrol. :D

I put all different 'levels' back to front and almost broke it pulling it apart :wacko:

When you order the drawers you need to order the other boxes too and they'll show as 'free' when you go to the till (or order online) :)

Thanks for the tip - I've bought a set (silver ones though at 19.99 as the lilac were out of stock in all the stores in my area - still a bargain). Funnily enough the day I read your post my cat had just started using my desk as a bed - he looked very cute all curled up and sleepy so I took several photos - except when I looked at the photos I realised just how messy my desk and craft area is - this thread couldn't have come at a better time :lol:

I am VERY lucky, I checked a few stores knowing that my local little argos store wouldn't have them in, they never have anything! I checked 4 stores, 2 of which were extras, I was gutted as there were none, so I thought i'd just try the little store and, blimey, they had one!!! Infact they only had one because I decided after to get 2 and there were none left!!!

i nearly got lynched in one store - I had already bought the last one from Cribbs Causeway and decided they were PERFECT for sorting out DD's bombsite of a bedroom, so i searched all local stores online and reserved two at another nearby branch.
Went to collect the following day, and was attempting to carry my haul out of the shop when i was accosted by a lady DEMANDING to know 'How the hell have you got those when they're out of stock?'
Said I meekly 'i reserved them online yesterday' to which she retorted 'well I tried yesterday morning and it sadi they were OUT OF STOCK!!!'. I just mumbled something about early birds and worms and legged it....
Had to put them on backseat of car as boot too small, left car whilst i popped into Sainsbury's and was quite apprehensive about whether i would come back to a smashed window and no drawers!!!:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

They have these, or something very similar in WHSmiths for £4.99 (down from £25) - without the free boxes though. :)
According to the measurements they should be the perfect size for 12x12 papers :)

just checked argos and they have the drawers at £4.99 but not in our area, and you can't have them delivered.
