One Page At A Time - Kit Club

In my search for a good valued US Kit I have come across this Kit Club – One Page At A Time.
I only discovered them a couple of weeks ago but I am IMPRESSED with the value for money. Plus their Kits have papers that are not done to death on other Kit Clubs before (you know how usually you have at least 5 - 6 Kits clubs with the same line in the same month.

The Owner, Capella, is such a Sweetie – she will do her outmost to accommodate and is aware of the problems we are facing with customs charges and assured me that it should not be a problem with her Kits.
My Kit has gone out to me and should be here within the next 5 days and I will keep you posted as to how good the value for money really is once I have it in my hands.

I just received my Kit and it' FABULOUS!
Paid $15.65 in postage. Depending on which sub you go for (they have 1, 3 and 6 months) the final £ price varies. I had the 1 month to try it out and that totalled £22.02 incl the shipping from the US.

What I had in the parcel is brill - value for money is outstanding. You want to wait until the 15th of June though, that is when the new image gets uploaded to the homepage - if you like your Maya Road and American Crafts then you don't want to miss out :ph34r:

It's super dooper fanastic - I received the August Kit today as part of my work for their DT and it has to be my fave one from them yet (it's my third so far). Wait until you see the whole contents on the site - they usually go up on the 15th of the month....

Well i have to admit that i too have succumbed to this kit :rolleyes: I have have gone for a six-month subscription with the add-ons and i have managed to get a really good price on them as they have an August discount code which they will apply to it.

Can't wait for the kit to arrive!! and the September kit is absolutely gorgeous!

Oh ... I am soooo frustrated .... saw this kit this morning for the first time, still for sale on the site , but had to wait to speak to DH tonight to check that he was happy for me to get another monthly kit (well he wasnt terribly happy but gave in!) , just gone back to sign up for the reduced price 6 month subscription to find its now sold out.... arrrggghhh thats typical isnt it , especially as the kit looks sooooooo very beautiful. Oh well, will look out for Octobers (although if its too much UL I will have to give it a miss as I have loads of that already).

When I saw you subscribed and were indeed part of the Creative team Kimmy I realised that it must be a good kit as you have great taste and style ! HAd a look at whats in store for November a little while ago, it looks fab and I love what youve done with the kit- brilliant ! I was so pleasedwith my jam packed September kit , brilliant - definately enough for at least 5 layouts I agree, plus the fab frame for altering, just brilliant ! And yes Capella is soooo lovely to deal with , very helpful and accomodating.
Jay and Kirsty I am sure you will be delighted with your kits as well.
Have you had a chance to use any of your September kit Bea , I have used some for a CJ but not done any LO's yet - been a very poor scrapper lately.... !
Belindy I havent had any emails about extra payment yet but I think Capella has been very busy with her move , theres a message on the home page of the site saying that nothing will be shipped till 23rd October so perhaps thats what the delay is.

I love the little ribbon charms and I have a few LOs I want todo that are of old piccies of my mum and I think they will go with it so well

You are right - Capella started her move from LA to Florida on Friday and will be unable to reply to emails etc before they have unpacked.
Belindy, also the Kits only ever ship on the 15th of the month (only exeption is this month), so Capella won't be able to advise of the extra shipping until after all have gone out :)

I subscribed to this kit today. I love the look of it - I think the add-on kit may have accidentally fallen into my basket, but there was a 30% discount so the whole lot came to $23 and something pence! I was gobsmacked!

Hi Chrissie, I've yet to recive the October kit but this kit looks fab - been on the net and cannot find another kit like this. Usually you see the same kind of kit (papers etc) done by different kit suppliers but the kits by one page at a time are not overly done (if that makes sense).

Oh I am so confused!!!

I have ordered three kits today, got three receipts but only two lots of money have gone from my card. Does OPAAT kit get billed on order, or when it ships? Its the November kit I have bought. Help!

When I paid via paypal the money was debited straight away and I've been billed separately for the additional shipping cost (at a later date when the kit is to be shipped). Someone will probably give you a better reply.

Bea is right - on average it takes about 5 days BUT that depends on the post really. Even though none of my OPAAT Kits have ever been later than 4 days, I had problems with other Kits from the US.

Hi there - I received mine OK and I know a couple of other peeps got theirs - I believe that the move is completed so everything should be back to normal.

Did you get the notification of goods shipped as this has a tracking number in it - you just need to log onto the USPS website and it will let you know where you package is as all teh parcels are sent global priority they can easily be tracked.

My "Click-N-Ship(R) Notification" came on the 19th September

WOW - just stopped packing orders up as my kit has arrived - YIPPEE - I was telling my self not to expect it until at least Friday!

I am so glad I found this kit - I am certainly not disappointed with this months either - not sure what to do with some of it but I guess that is how we grow and learn new techniques (will have to check out the gallery on the OPAAT site)

I had better stop drooling over it and get back to work - lol

Capella is such a lovely person. I have managed to sort out my problem regarding the missing September kit without any problems at all. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone, for the amount of stash you get for your money and for having such a friendly person on the other side if you do encounter any problems.

I picked mine up from the sorting office yesterday , wow there always seems to be more stuff in the kit that in the pictures I know there isnt but it just seems it !! Did anyone else have any of their extras kit missing that will be sent on ? Will drop Capella a quickie email as I dont have any buttons or ribbon either , which were on the list. Did get a lovely little goodie bag though whioch I am delighted with !!

Anita, I couldn't remember what was in the October kit as there was so much but looking at it now, I do have the (large) bag of buttons and ribbons in the add on kit. Everything appears to be there barring the items that Capella has advised in the letter which will be sent on - hopefully not too long from now, but will have to wait. The goody bag is also great.

Just a heads up and a huge apology from Capella for all those who waited so patiently. Her business computer was down for almost a month now due to a virus they couldn't get rid off. All her address info for the subscribers wer not acessible and additionally she couldn't even get to her emails. It seems they are now back on track and everyone should be getting their Kits within the next couple of days

It is beautiful and I am absolutely amazed at the add-on kit - I got such a good price too for being a first timer - I would've paid three timeas much here for what I actually got.

I haven't heard from Capella either, I hope she's allright.
One thing I have noticed though - parcels from Florida seem to take generally MUCH longer to get to the UK.

As long as Capella was based in California they arrived within 4 days. My parcel from Florida has been on its way for over a week.
I was part of another Kit club which moved from Cal to Florida and that took longer as well. I wonder why??

Ahh I wasn't alone - I got an email from Cappella at the weekend and alas I was missed and parts of the november kit were sold out - I just said I would be happy to accept alternatives so I will get a surprise. I got my shipping notification from USPS on Tuesday so I am expecting it to arrive sometime next week.

Have you got your USPS notification of shipment Quinn? As you should expect to get your package within about 7 - 10 days from that date. Hope this helps.

No i have had no notification and no invoice, but my card has been charged with $49, maybe i ought to email and chase it up then..... Capella mailed me to say i had been forgotten but my kit was coming out to me on the 24th but i haven't any kind of shipment notification or recievd it obviously.

Oh poor Capella, sounds like she had a bad month last month, I didnt get missed from the main kit but I did from the add on kit but I received that the other day, albeit some of the items had been substituted. Lets hope things settle down for her and that things get back on track for Decembers kit, did anyone see that its now sold out ? Nor surprised as it looks fab , dont really know how she does the add on's at such a great price either , I did query the KI Joyful thing and its the Color Lab test tube thingy , $24.99. for that and all all those other goodies is just fab !
I hope those of you waiting for kits get them very soon.

Fortunatly some other lovely kits arrived yesturday so i can stroke them and think about what to do .....!

They do look fab the Opaat kits, if they are as good as look it will be worth it.

I agree with Anita - it is so unlike Capella to have such a bad month. But I guess to move from California to Florida with two small children and a shop can't be that easy, then add computer problems and a DT search at the same time.....I would have curled myself up crying for three months...LOL

I have just got mine and I am stunned -I got the add on kit as well as the main one and together they are spectacular - without doubt the best value kit I've had in at least a year - I love it all too and hope to start doing my "christmas album" tonight - after 2 months of making presents for other people it will be lovely to get down to some scrapbooking just for me!!!

Yeah Ivebeen having trouble Kirsty too.... although I so love this kit I am thinking about not renewing my subscription, it will really upset me loosing out on this kit but I am getting a little frustrated with it all to be honest. My first kit in September was the only trouble free one, I am still waiting for items missing from Octobers kit, November was shipped without the add on kit - but resolved quickly , and then Decembers kit was shipped without the add on kit too. Capella was going to send it on 27th December but its not here and I cant get any response from my repeated emails to her , I have received other stufff from the US s, from the same state actually, that was sent after the day she was supposedly going to send it and one of those was held up in customs ,hence a longer delay. I really dont mind waiting , although am desperate to scrap my christmas piccies, but its the difficulty in contacting Capella thats getting to me.... and not being able to get on the site on a regular basis....
Oh well whinge over .... sorry about that....

I have had a catalogue of problems too, and am only half way through my six month sub. :( The kits are totally fab though and i havent really been able to find any other kit thats like it.

I know Capella was out of town until the 7th so i'll be resending my latest problem today. Running an internet based business myself i know that when you have a backlog of mail its easy to miss some.:wacko:

Im just hoping everything can get resolved and OPAAT can run with less problems soon.

Quinn - sorry to hear youve been having problems too. I am part way through my 6 month sub too , started in September . As you say there seems no kit to match up to the value of Capellas lovely kits...
Really hoping youve got an answer to your problems, I have heard back ,I have 3 despatch notifications so not sure exactly what they all are but Capella did say she was going to ship what I was missing plus send my January kit a little early, cant wait till it all arrives !

February kit is up now and looks oh so pretty, I did buy quite a bit of the KI range on Saturday but theres not too much duplicated in the kit , just some of the papers.

OMG Februarys kit looks gorgeous

OMG - just seen Feb kit and W-OW. My sub runs out in March and I've got to gear myself to say no but Capella makes it very hard to not to subscribe the kits are just awesome and cannot find a kit that's so jammed pack with goodies (really nice goddies to boot).

Got my kit today , Capella had sent mine early, last friday, to make up for, and include , my missing items from previous kits. Got everything outstanding now which is fab . Januarys kit is lovely, although I think maybe the add on kit doesnt seem as much as some of the more recent ones, but hey still great value for money !
I am going to try and be good and skip next months kit , even though it is very pretty and lovely its just that I dont loads of lovey dovey stuff and bought quite a bit anyway at the week , from a sponsor, for my February DT work.... it will be horrid not getting my parcel of goodies for a month but I must be strong !

It was one of the first things I asked when I signed up , in case there were any kits I didnt like, and she said that as long as she knows in plenty of time thats fine. Hope that helps.

Has anyone checked the status of the usps delivery notice yet? Mine says the item was delivered on 19th of Jan but this was to an address in Florida (USA). This means that it hasn't left America yet. This can't be right - I've never seen it like this before? This has really ticked me off...off to rant a bit....

Oh, it's not just me. Just had a thought - it was one of the windy days and the planes weren't allowed to fly so that's probably why the kits are still in Florida. Doh.

Mine says it was delivered to an address in palm beach. :wacko: I wouldn't worry to much, lust month mine said it had been delivered to Canada the year before and it turned up a couple of days later!

Thanks for that Quinn, I got a reply from my email from Capella and she said that a few of the international packages were sent back to her on the 18th in error and she has since re-sent them and the kits should be with us by the end of this week. Not long to wait now everyone.

Hi Millicent, yes you can buy the kit as a one off but you have to be quick as these kits do sell out very quickly. The shipping cost is around $19 but I also get the add on, so yours maybe less if you're not going for add ons. All in all these kits are very good value for money (there's so much in it). I have been very pleased with the kits I have had so far and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I hope I've answered some of your queries. Belinda

Unfortunately, I skipped this month's kit. the kit looks great though but I don't have any valentinish pictures to scrap so saved some money this month.

Not too pleased - I hadn't realised my 6 months were up until this afternoon when I got an email from Capella saying it is sold out - would I like to renew for March. She did say there may be a few bits and bobs left and if I resub in March I will get a reduction but in my opinion the email should have come at the start of the month - arghhh I will have to rethink about whether or not to join again.

So please do check your subs as it is looks like you don't get a reminder and then not get a kit.

Oh Bea - thats not good...... dont know what to say really but yes totally agree that Capella should have something that flags when people are nearing their subscription and contact them before its too late and disappointment is caused.... I will be on the case as soon as March appears as February was my last one of my current subscription, actually asked Capella a few weeks ago about something she mentioned a few months ago which is paying up front for 6 months at a further reduced rate, she is supposed to be sorting it .

Have had a couple of emails from Capella - their system let them down, it is supposed to remind people - I have re-subbed for the next 6 months - I will get some but maybe not all of the Feb kit. Hopefully they will improve their system but I have written a note in my diary to remind me when it stops.

Oooo Quinn was hoping for mine today , along with some other US stuff thats not here yet but no sign at the moment. I can well imagine that this one will be difficult to cut into!

Still trying to decide about restarting with March or to wait till April but have had an email from Capella offering a further discount for signing up again from March so think I will be tempted (discount for March only by the way!).

Millicent the site is updated the 15th of every month for the following months kit so March kit went up on 15th February .

Hope all the other kits arrive soon too .

Just got my kit this morning :D i think thats a record for OPAAT!

its lovely don't like sassfras lass but these papers look okay and i am really looking forward to using this kit, especially the star, and the chipboard and the fab tear off sheets, and the buttons wella ctually all of it (except the MAMBI bling which is quite frankly cheap, tacky and horrible!) ;)

I cant wait for aprils though!

Yes its lovely but i seem to have been over charged for it :unsure: this months was $8 more than last months and a whopping $12 more than the month before. I understood last months being a bit more (with that big box in it) but i would have thought this months would have been less. :huh:

The kit is lovely though and i'm glad its a bank holiday as i should get more time to play with paper!

If you click on the image of the kit on the homepage it will take you to the kit page , at the bottom there it tells you the shipping costs worldwide. I have subscribed since last september and love the kits, theyre fab, am skipping Junes kit however as I have so much of whats in the kit already .
Not sure about the amount of LO's , a good 6 or 7 (with lots left over) plus there is nearly always something to alter, and you have to remember that theres stamps or a stamp included as well.
